FR Ep #232 How to Live Forward After Loss with David and Debra Matthews Jul 19, 2021
    Show notes

Today on Feminine Roadmap we are discussing how to live forward after loss with David and Debra Matthews. David and Debra turned their loss into a mission to help give hope to those devastated by any loss and encourage them that life can still be rich and meaningful going forward. This conversation is rich with wisdom and truth around grief, what it is and why it is important to go through the grief process after any kind of loss. One of the greatest truths they share is that all loss is in context to other losses and grief is the normal and natural response to those losses. Grief hits us all at different times and in different ways. Grief not only looks different but can feel different to each individual so recognizing that there is nothing wrong with us when our grieving process doesn’t match someone else’s. Your emotions and process are yours and they are right for you. While the way we grieve may vary, the common thread is the importance of giving voice to our pain so that it does not impact us or our relationships negatively. Even when we are actively working through our grief there will be scar tissue, healing takes time. The good news is that even though we may be grieving, going through the pain of that, we do not have to wait to be happy until we stop hurting. David and Debra want us to know that no matter your loss there is always hope and we don’t need to fear going through the loss journey. If you or someone you know is grieving a loss, this episode will soothe, encourage and empower that grief journey in a healing, hopeful way. So please grab a cuppa something wonderful, a journal, and get ready to take notes that will support that grief journey. Please remember to subscribe, rate and share this podcast. Thank you!

FR Ep #231 How to Live an Ageless Life with Dr Vonda Wright Jul 12, 2021
    Show notes

Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about how to live an ageless life with Dr. Vonda Wright. Dr. Vonda wants to flip the script on aging from anti-aging to an ageless life. She has a passion for helping women to realize that midlife is not the autumn of their lives or the edge of winter but a second spring. Anti-aging is a mindset that puts us against aging (which we’ve been doing since we were born) but instead pivot to pro-living. What is pro-living? It is living our best lives, purposeful living, actively engaging with good food, good movement, and good relationships both with others as well as ourselves. IT’s not giving in to the media’s story about aging but redefining it for ourselves and then living it. She believes that we can live active, healthy, vital and joyful lives well after 50 and 60 as we make choices that are in favor of our health span. Dr. Vonda has found that many people’s health span is not as long as their life span which means that they live their last 20 years in les than optimal health and she’s on a mission to change that! Dr. Vonda shares several powerful mindsets and strategies to support ageless living and a longer health span. Please grab a cuppa something wonderful and join us for this mindset altering, health span changing conversation! Please remember to subscribe, rate and share this podcast! Thank you.

FR Ep #229 How to Build an Online Coaching Business with Lindsey Anderson Jun 28, 2021
    Show notes

Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about how to build an online business with Lindsey Anderson. Midlife presents a lot of change and opportunities for many of us and we are in a unique position to help others. By the time we have hit midlife we have lived several lifetimes and worn many different hats. The beauty of all of that knowledge is that it has specially equipped us to help others who are moving along that same path. While we may not recognize the value of our own life experiences, if we stop to see how much we would have liked to have had guidance then we can see the value more clearly. One of the greatest misconceptions is that we have to know it all, be the expert when in reality we just need to be a few steps ahead f those we are helping. Lindsey shares how we can begin to identify what areas we can teach or coach others in. She deals with the issues of fear and permission to help us break through to our personal brilliance. If you find yourself at a crossroads and have something that you love to do, talk about or share then this conversation is for you. IF you are seeking a new direction in midlife and can’t figure out what that is, then this episode is just what you need. FR EP #228 The Gift of Self-Discovery with Sarah Watkins Jun 21, 2021
    Show notes

Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about the gift of self-discovery with life coach Sarah Watkins. As we head into midlife we are often overwhelmed with ideas about health, aging, and fear of the future. In this conversation we flip that mindset and change the dialogue into hope, empowerment and possibility. Sarah shares how experiencing a sudden, life changing autoimmune disorder at 45 years old took her on a journey of healing, self-discovery and renewed purpose. She found herself coming face to face with ideas and limiting beliefs that were not supporting her or helping her live a life that reflected who she wanted to be. Through that experience she found the gift of self-discovery. Sarah began to listen to her own body, to create quality, supportive habits for her mental and physical health. She began to develop a strong relationship with herself, trusting herself and through that living with a renewed sense of purpose. One of the greatest tools she found was to look for ways to create little shifts every day, especially in awareness. Once she began to understand that thoughts create feelings, feelings drive actions and actions then form the life we live, she could make those intentional shifts. If you are feeling that sense of disconnection with yourself and want to find connection again by rediscovering you, join us. Grab a cuppa something wonderful, a good friend and listen to this practical, uplifting and potentially life changing conversation. Please remember to subscribe, rate and share this podcast! FR Ep #227 Becoming the Best Version of You with Adale Boudreau Jun 14, 2021
    Show notes

Today on Feminine Roadmap we are talking about becoming the best you with Adale Boudreau. Adale encourages women to learn to face the past, let go of the future and really live in the present moment. Coming to terms with our pasts and our limiting beliefs is the path toward becoming the best version of ourselves. While we cannot control what happens to us, we can control how we respond to what happens. Adale reminds listeners that the challenges of life, which she calls contrast, is fundamentally necessary to help shape us into our best selves. Contrast is what brings us to the point of change and growth, without it we would not be inspired to improve. With a focus on mindset, Adale points out that it’s time to think about what we’ve been thinking to see if our thoughts are hurting or helping us in our growth. She also emphasizes that we are not our thoughts, thoughts are something we have and being able to separate ourselves from those thoughts is a big step in moving forward in our growth journey. This enriching conversation is full of thought provoking and practical strategies to help us become the best version of ourselves. We encourage you to grab a cuppa something wonderful, a few friends, and sit down to enjoy this episode together. Please remember to subscribe, rate and share this podcast! Thank you!
