In this week’s episode, Ryan Wormeli and Mike Maher start by giving their initial impressions of Paul Skenes and discussing his rest-of-season (ROS) ranking. Next, they dive into Rafael Devers’ hot streak and explore the impact of recent injuries on key players like Xander Bogaerts, Eloy Jimenez, John Means, and Austin Riley. We also debate whether Kyle Tucker should have been in the No. 1 overall pick conversation in our recent redraft.
Our “Buy Low, Sell High” segment highlights Maher’s favorite buy low candidate, Ha-Seong Kim, and Worm’s pick, Francisco Lindor. We also discuss our top sell high candidates, Luis Gil and Andrew Abbott, and why now might be the right time to trade them.
In “Waivers Central,” we share our top hitter and pitcher picks from the waiver wire. Maher recommends Davis Schneider and Jeffrey Springs, while Worm suggests adding Luis Matos and Cole Irvin to your roster.
Finally, we share what we’re most excited for this weekend, including key matchups and players to watch. Maher is looking forward to the Phillies, Jordan Montgomery vs. the Marlins, and Aaron Civale’s last stand, while Worm is excited about Kyle Harrison vs. Christian Scott, Kyle Bradish vs. Garrett Crochet, and Ronel Blanco’s performance.
