Show notes
Which early-round fantasy baseball picks disappointed the most in 2026? Joe Orrico is joined by FTN Fantasy’s Lucas Biery to break down 10 of the season’s biggest letdowns, including Julio Rodríguez, Paul Skenes, Gunnar Henderson, Kyle Tucker, Corbin Carroll, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Cal Raleigh, Freddy Peralta, Logan Webb, and Austin Riley.
The guys dig into declining barrel rates, velocity concerns, poor batting averages, disappearing power, workload issues, and other warning signs behind these disappointing seasons. They also debate which struggles should actually worry fantasy managers and which stars could become strong buy-low targets in 2027 fantasy baseball drafts.
Plus, find out where players like Skenes, Tucker, Vlad Jr., Gunnar Henderson, and Corbin Carroll could be worth drafting next season, which veterans may be getting by on name value, and how much weight fantasy managers should put on one down season when building their 2027 rankings.
