There have been 266 football games in the NFL this season. Now just one more remains – Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas.
It’s a classic “offense vs. defense” matchup, as well as a battle of youth vs. experience. In one corner, you have the NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons, making their second appearance in the Super Bowl and first in almost 20 years. The Falcons are all about offense, ranking second it total offense, inside the top five in both rushing and passing and first in scoring. Featuring the likes of quarterback Matt Ryan, wide receiver Julio Jones and tailbacks Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, the Falcons are a hard team to stop.
Just ask the Green Bay Packers.
Opposing them are the AFC Champion New England Patriots, appearing in their third Super Bowl in the past six years and record ninth overall. No team in the NFL gave up fewer points per game in 2016 than the Patriots, a remarkable feat given that the team traded away their best pass-rusher and linebacker either before or during the season.
Oh, and there’s the not so small matter of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick, who are appearing in their record seventh Super Bowl together.
Can the young upstart Falcons pull off the upset, or will Brady make history as the first quarterback in NFL history to win five Super Bowls?
