    Evan & Tiki

Evan & Tiki brings balance, brains and edge to New York sports talk. Evan Roberts’ fan-first intensity pairs with Tiki Barber’s perspective from inside the game to create debate that’s informed, passionate and rarely predictable. Whether it’s Giants and Jets analysis, Yankees and Mets arguments, or Knicks, Nets and league-wide storylines, the conversation goes deeper than hot takes. Throw in Shaun Morash, who stirs the pot with unfiltered opinions and the raw pulse of the fanbase, and you have Evan & Tiki, a show where New York sports get talked through — not talked over.

Yankee Stadium Is Getting Shafted by MLB Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Yankee Stadium keeps getting passed over for the MLB All-Star Game, and Shaun Morash has had enough. With future host cities lining up and the current stadium getting older, Shaun argues it is ridiculous that baseball still has not brought the Midsummer Classic to the Bronx. Tiki Barber agrees the continued wait is becoming harder to explain. Shaun Morash is in for Evan Roberts alongside Tiki Barber as the conversation also turns to another New York sports oversight. A caller asks why Giants legend and Hall of Famer Harry Carson has never had his number retired, leading Tiki and Shaun to question how one of the franchise’s greatest players has remained overlooked.

    Titans are a Disaster, it Makes Jets Week 1 a Must-Win Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

The Titans looked so bad in preseason that Shaun Morash and Tiki Barber are already raising the stakes for the Jets’ Week 1 opener. Cam Ward struggled badly, Cor'Dale Flott was getting beaten in coverage, and Tennessee suddenly looks like a team the Jets simply cannot afford to lose to. Garrett Wilson could have a major opportunity if Flott’s issues carry into the regular season. Shaun Morash is in for Evan Roberts alongside Tiki Barber as they also debate Geno Smith’s leash and what Cade Klubnik needs to show in the preseason. If the Jets stumble early, could Klubnik become a real option, or would turning away from Geno only create more chaos?

Cade Klubnik Must Force the Jets’ Hand Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Cade Klubnik has a real opportunity to make the Jets rethink their quarterback plans, but Shaun Morash and Tiki Barber agree he has to earn it. Geno Smith remains the safer choice for Aaron Glenn, especially with so many young offensive pieces whose development could suffer if the rookie quarterback isn’t ready. Shaun Morash is in for Evan Roberts alongside Tiki Barber as they also dive into the Giants’ biggest preseason questions. Orville Reese has fans dreaming about a return to the franchise’s physical linebacker identity, while Colton Hood gets an important early test in a cornerback room filled with uncertainty. Plus, the Jets’ tight ends could give their offense a major matchup advantage.

Odell Beckham Jr. Is Fighting to Keep His Career Alive Aug 14, 2026
    Show notes

Jaxson Dart should play in the Giants’ preseason opener, but Shaun Morash and Tiki Barber agree it needs to be a real dress rehearsal with his starting tackles protecting him. Shaun Morash is in for Evan Roberts alongside Tiki as they lay out what they need to see from Dart and why simple quarterback competency matters more than flashy highlights. For the Jets, David Bailey enters the spotlight with enormous expectations and an inevitable comparison to Giants rookie Orville Reese. Cade Klubnik also gets a major opportunity behind Geno Smith. Plus, Odell Beckham Jr. fights for a roster spot in what could be his final NFL chance, while questions surround the Giants’ wide receiver depth and Malik Nabers’ health.

Thursday Full Show: Yankees Believe Again, Giants Eye Arnold, and Did Craig Clip His Nails? Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

Shaun Morash hosts solo and is suddenly buying back into the Yankees. After another stirring comeback, he argues this team feels different, with George Lombard Jr. and Spencer Jones injecting life into the lineup while Trent Grisham and Ryan McMahon heat up around them. The frustration with Brian Cashman’s deadline remains, and Morash warns that Spencer Jones could still become the odd man out when Cody Bellinger returns. The Giants create an entirely different debate as John Harbaugh addresses the possibility of adding Terrion Arnold. Morash says that if the Giants’ background work and the NFL’s plans leave a realistic path for Arnold to play, the secondary is too vulnerable for New York to simply walk away. Malik Nabers’ Week 1 outlook also gets a boost, while Jayden Daniels gets blasted for the terrible optics of fighting LSU over another quarterback wearing No. 5.

Hour 1: Yankees Youth Movement Could Save Their Season Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

The Yankees suddenly look alive, and Shaun Morash is buying back in. After another dramatic comeback and a surge fueled by George Lombard Jr. and Spencer Jones, Shaun argues this team feels different from the stale Yankees of recent Octobers. The pitching remains dominant, struggling bats are waking up, and the Bronx has rediscovered its energy. Shaun hosts while Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber are away and explains why a healthy return for Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Cody Bellinger could make the Yankees a legitimate World Series threat. He also tackles the looming Spencer Jones roster crunch, whether New York can still chase down Tampa Bay, concerns about the bullpen, and Major League Baseball’s maddening TV maze. The next big test is whether this momentum survives once the Yankees’ stars return.

Hour 2: Giants Must Sign Terrion Arnold and Ignore Morality Outrage Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

The Giants should sign Terrion Arnold if their background work clears a path for him to play. Shaun Morash argues New York cannot afford to take the moral high ground while winning organizations routinely gamble on talented players with serious off-field concerns, especially with the secondary looking like the Giants’ biggest weakness. Talkin' Giants co-host Justin Penick joins Shaun and agrees the NFL is not a morality league, though he stops short of viewing Arnold as an automatic starter. Shaun also looks ahead to the preseason opener, from Malik Nabers trending toward Week 1 to Odell Beckham Jr.’s anticipated return to the field, Deonte Banks’ critical test and Arvell Reese’s growing hype. Plus, Jayden Daniels gets ripped over his LSU No. 5 dispute, and the Yankees’ young surge gets another look.

Hour 3: Craig Carton Gets Busted for Clipping Nails at Work Aug 13, 2026
    Show notes

Craig Carton gets confronted over the studio mystery nobody wanted solved: who was clipping their nails at work. After the evidence points directly at Craig, he jumps in to defend himself while Shaun Morash unloads on what he calls one of the grossest possible workplace habits. The confrontation quickly spirals into a hilarious debate over whether clipping nails in the studio is actually worse than Shaun’s preferred method of doing it on the toilet. From movie theater food to secret drive-thru eating habits, Craig and Shaun turn an ugly discovery into a wildly entertaining argument about personal boundaries, food, and disgusting routines.
