    Dr. Kevin Passero and his special guest Dr. Rob Brown will discuss a mindful approach to wellness and toxin removal at home. Dr. Rob Brown, MD, began his formal medical education at the University of Miami School of Medicine, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology in Pittsburgh and a fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, in musculoskeletal radiology. As a diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Brown has worked both in private practice as well as at academic centers, including NYU Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Brown’s varied life experiences, including surviving a diagnosis of cancer, have brought him to the understanding that wellness is optimally achieved by allowing the body to heal, rather than by manipulating it through medication and procedures. Dr. Brown enjoys helping people create healthier lifestyle choices and believes in the importance of removing toxicity, particularly from the home environment.

    Radio show host David Baer and his special guest Dr. Sam Berne will discuss a holistic optometrist’s approach to preventing and treating common eye ailments. Dr. Sam Berne has been in private practice in New Mexico for over 25 years. He works with patients to improve their vision and overall wellness through holistic methods. Anthony Thomas, PhD, earned his bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics and food science from California State University Northridge, his doctorate in nutritional biology from the University of California at Davis, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California at Los Angeles Larry Hillblom Islet Research Center. His primary research interests have focused on the influence of dietary and lifestyle factors on chronic cardiovascular/metabolic diseases including obesity, insulin resistance syndrome, and type 2 diabetes. He has authored/co-authored multiple peer reviewed scientific manuscripts and is currently a consultant for Jarrow.

    Dr. Kevin Passero and his special guest Dr. Zach Bush will discuss gut health in this era of large scale chemical farming, genetically modified food, and contaminated water systems. Zach Bush, MD, is one of the few triple board-certified physicians in the country, with expertise in internal medicine, endocrinology and metabolism, and hospice/palliative care. In 2012 he discovered a family of carbon-based redox molecules made by bacteria. He and his team subsequently demonstrated that this cellular communication network functions to counteract the effects of glyphosate and many other dietary, chemical and pharmaceutical toxins that disrupt our body’s natural defense systems. Teri is currently in private practice in the metro DC area, where she specializes in complex health conditions and elite athletic performance. Tavis is a well-known speaker, educator and author on sports performance and nutrition. He works with all levels of athletes from high school to Olympic levels. He served as the Sports Dietitian for the New Orleans Saints (2006-2013), New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans (2008-2013), and Tulane University Athletics (2002-2016). Tavis currently serves as Program Education Manager for Taylor Hooton Foundation.
