    Episode 17 - Reggie Watts Feb 12, 2018
    Show notes

Reggie Watts is on to discuss growing up in Montana and winning a stand up comedy contest while he was still in high school. He left stand up behind to move Seattle in the early 90s to pursue music before ending up in New York City 12 years later during the emergence of the alternative comedy scene. He holds the prestigious records for least jobs bad jobs held so far as an Entry Level guest, but that's only because he was bumming on couches playing music. Episode 16 - Taran Killam Feb 05, 2018
    Show notes

Taran Killam is on to discuss starting out as a child actor. His resume includes non union commercials as a 10 year old, getting his only line in Naked Gun 33 1/3 cut, being on MADTV when he was 19, and much more. Taran explains most of his life decisions were based on what got him out of going to school which makes sense. He also talks about what it was like the week Trump hosted SNL and the sketch he wrote for him where Trump's only line was "I forgot the snakes." To see Taran's commercial for The Ringling Bros circus check out @brookswheelan on twitter where he shared the link

    Episode 15 - The Lucas Brothers Jan 29, 2018
    Show notes

Keith and Kenny Lucas are on this week to discuss only accepting jobs as a team. Somehow, lots of places were ok with this. They don't handle being told what to do well so none of these jobs lasted that long. From McDonalds (inside the hospital) to tricking people in a boiler room scam to living in their car in Brooklyn they've gone through a ton of shit to get where they are today.

    Episode 14 - Jay Mohr Jan 22, 2018
    Show notes

Jay Mohr is on this weeks episode to talk about growing up in "The Soprano's" part of New Jersey. He started stand up at 15, but that didn't keep him from being terrible at a few jobs before he was a touring professional comic at 19. Jay and Brooks also talk way too much about Iowa wrestling, just a heads up. Music by Drennon Davis Art by Barry Blankenship

    Episode 13 - Brendon Walsh Jan 15, 2018
    Show notes

Brendon Walsh is on to talk about pranking his co-workers until one of them got arrested and also explains how much fun The Price is Right is. Please no one steal his movie rental store tv show idea either. Music by Drennon Davis Arty by Barry Blankenship

    Episode 12 - Howard Kremer Jan 08, 2018
    Show notes

Howard Kremer, AKA Dragon Boy Suede, is on to break to record for most jobs and longest episode! Howard's done it all and has been told countless times "we don't need you anymore." Listen to find out how Howard once chugged a bunch of Mr. T's sent back champagne and scooped up some early Beastie Boys notes. Music by Drennon Davis Art by Barry Blankenship

    Episode 11 - Hampton Yount Dec 31, 2017
    Show notes

Hampton Yount comes on to discuss how he pretty much ran the pizza game in Northern Virginia for about a decade. He's also the first person to come on the podcast who has worked the same job as Brooks so naturally they compare stories to see who had it worse. Brooks and Hampton also used to be neighbors in the worst part of Hollywood where Hampton was recently mugged... Fun! Music by Drennon Davis Art by Barry Blankenship

    Episode 10 - Nicole Byer Dec 25, 2017
    Show notes

Nicole Byer joins Brooks today for the historic 10th episode! Nicole gives us the details on how to steal from retail stores, and also what happens when you get caught three times. Is there a jail inside the Macy's in New York? Yes. Has Nicole been there? Listen to find out! Also, yes she has. Email entrylevelwithbrookswheelan@gmail.com with your entry level job stories for an upcoming BONUS EPISODE! Art by Barry Blankenship Music by Drennon Davis

    Episode 9 - Bobby Moynihan Dec 18, 2017
    Show notes

Bobby Moynihan joins Brooks today to recount his days as a 12 year old used toy store manager, abusing his lifeguard powers in high school, sneaking around the UConn campus with janitor keys, scamming Pizzaria Uno, and he even lets us know what happens when you have your nude photos developed at a sketchy 1 hour PhotoMart. Saturday Night Live might get brought up once or twice as well. Music by Drennon Davis Art by Barry Blankenship

Episdode 8 - Morgan Murphy and Robin Shorr Dec 11, 2017
    Show notes

The hosts of Los Feliz the Podcast (Morgan Murphy and Robin Shorr) are on this episode of Entry Level. Important questions get answered like "Does Baskin Robins always have EXACTLY 31 flavors?" and "How long did Morgan last as a waitress?" Also Brooks and Robin bond over being tour guides, only Robin's gig was slightly worse as she guided people to the fake gas chambers at the Museum of Tolerance as a 16 year old child. Music by Drennon Davis Art by Barry Blankenship
