    Episode 26 - Wheeler Walker Jr. Apr 16, 2018
    Show notes

Wheeler Walker Jr. has been around for a while, but he just recently started taking over Nashville by doing things his own way. He talks about growing up in Kentucky and working as a farm hand before heading to Nashville where he had a hiccup in his early music career by doing what he thought the "suits" wanted. He also plays his new single at the end of the episode and just a heads up it's explicit as fuck. Check out Brooks' dates and get his vinyl: brookswheelan.com

    Episode 25 - Mike Burns Apr 09, 2018
    Show notes

In this historic 25th episode Brooks interviews his life partner Mike Burns (AKA @dadboner). This is a special episode because Brooks was party responsible for getting Mike fired one time. Mike's lived a life of trash growing up scamming grocery stores in Michigan before he worked designing baby clothes for over a decade. Brooks and Mike also talk about their shared opinion that if you pay someone minimum wage, they get to steal from you. Learn about @dadboner here: https://totalfratmove.com/the-legend-of-karl-welzein-aka-dadboner/ Check out Brooks' stand up dates here: brookswheelan.com

    Episode 24 - Sean Patton Apr 02, 2018
    Show notes

Sean Patton is on to talk about growing up in New Orleans doing child labor for his family catering business. He's seen an adult man break down at a wedding, been fired from dog walking because of a dog murder, and had to pretend to be Dr. Evil at a car dealership for three days (which now holds the record for funniest job told on this podcast). He also talks about living in New Orleans through Hurricane Katrina. Check out Brooks live or buy his album by going to brookswheelan.com

    Episode 23 - Mike O'Brien Mar 26, 2018

Plus he has a bunch of other fun stories about coming up through the Second City community. See Brooks live or buy his album on vinyl by going to brookswheelan.com

    Epsidoe 22 - Candy Lawrence Mar 19, 2018
    Show notes

In probably one of the funniest episodes yet, Brooks' favorite comedian, Candy Lawrence, is on to discuss selling water off the highway as a 12 year old, being tricked into becoming a full time baby sitter with no benefits, distributing an apartment newsletter where people wanted their money back, working almost half a decade for The Blue Man Group, and a ton of other weird jobs before she landed in LA. Episode 21 - Steelo Brim Mar 12, 2018
    Show notes

Steelo Brim (Ridiculousness) is on to discuss his path from growing up in Chicago to becoming 1/3rd of one of the most popular MTV shows of all time. He started off as a child extra in the movie "Hardball" where he talked his way into a bigger role. Then he navigated his way through the music industry during the MySpace era and ended up out in LA. But after failing Carl's Jr. interviews with his best friend Michael B. Jordan he ended up back in Chicago, but only for a short time. Get Brooks' stand up album on vinyl: brookswheelan.com/store

    Episode 20 - Kyle Mooney Mar 05, 2018
    Show notes

Kyle Mooney is this week's guest where he talks about working as a baseball umpire for one game, filing papers at his dad's work, being too nervous to work the popcorn machine at DisneyLand, and how he grew up wanting to be an underground hip hop artist. He had a rap group in high school called "Instruments of Intelligence" and we have a tiny snippet of their work at the end of the episode. He also talks about starting his sketch group Good Neighbor at USC with Nick Rutherford, Beck Bennett, and Dave McCary that eventually led to SNL. Episode 19 - Beth Stelling Feb 26, 2018
    Show notes

Beth Stelling joins the podcast and this is a special episode because Brooks and Beth have known each other for 10 years and at one point they each worked shitty jobs down the street from each other. They remember the good old days when they would eat at Subway and be sad together. Beth also talks about always wanting to be a good employee and how she quit track to work at an ice cream shop in high school. Sidenote: there's a lot of Chicago comedy talk in this episode. Episode 18 - James Adomian Feb 19, 2018
    Show notes

James Adomian stops by to talk about growing up doing odd jobs. He was fired from the first Quizno's in Los Angeles for weirding out customers and once helped drop a priceless fossil in an art warehouse. He's also one of the best impressionists in the world and throws down a few fun ones for this episode.
