A New Direction for Encourage Moment: Nervous System Support for Moms Mar 08, 2026
    Show notes

In this short solo update, I share where I've been the past couple of months and the new direction for the EncourageMOMent podcast. I talk about my decision to pursue certification as a somatic anxiety coach and why it feels like the missing piece beneath home organization tips and mindset work. Instead of just focusing on "10 ways to organize your pantry," I'm increasingly convinced that we first need calmer, safer nervous systems to feel effective in our homes and daily lives.

I explain what somatic support can look like for overwhelmed, anxious, or highly sensitive moms- especially when we're stuck in chronic fight, flight, or freeze- and why we simply cannot think or plan our way out when our bodies feel constantly on edge. I share my heart for helping moms move toward more ease and regulation, so that routines, systems, and organizing actually become doable instead of one more thing to feel behind on.

I also give a preview of upcoming episodes and resources and I mention my plans to share short, practical somatic tools on Instagram- like quick bilateral stimulation demos and simple practices for when you feel anxious, frozen, or like you just want to run away.

If you've ever felt like "I know what to do in my home, but I'm too overwhelmed to do it," this new season is for you. I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to walk with you into this next chapter of EncourageMOMent. DM me @encouragemomentco with questions or topics you'd love to hear more about as we go.

Just Because Someone Doesn't See Your Worth Doesn't Mean it Doesn't Exist Dec 24, 2025
    Show notes

Today, may you feel seen and loved and know how deeply important and incredible you are, no matter what. May you feel your deep and inherent worth today and every day.

Today's episode is for those of us who may have struggled to feel seen in our lives and as a result have poured far too much energy into those who are cold, indifferent or simply do not- or will not ever- see us or honor us for who we really are.

Let's be done with that. Today. For Good.

I hope this mini episode helps you feel seen and encouraged to shine BRIGHT, to be all of you, and to release those around you who don't truly get you or see who you really are. They may not be able to, but it's not your job to convince them. It's your job to be all of who you are. Your beautiful, bright, radiant self and to never let anyone stop you from being who YOU came here to be.

Cheering for you friend. xo, E

A Simple Grounding Practice Before Uncomfortable Conversations (Especially Around the Holidays) Dec 24, 2025
    Show notes

In this short car chat episode of Encourage Moments, I'm sharing a simple, gentle practice you can use before any hard or uncomfortable conversation- whether it's a family gathering, a big work meeting, or a tricky heart-to-heart. This is especially helpful heading into the holidays, but it truly applies any time of year you feel a little on edge or unsure.

You'll hear how to ground yourself, set your intention, and energetically "set the tone" so the most harmonious and ease-filled version of the conversation has space to unfold. This is all about taking care of your own nervous system first, so you don't abandon yourself trying to manage everyone else's emotions.

If you want a little extra support, the Home Pep Talk Library is now completely free—a private podcast of short (about three-minute) pep talks, many of them recorded around the holidays to walk you through before-and-after moments of gatherings, events, and everyday life at home. You can grab it through the link in the show notes and keep encouragement in your ears whenever you need it most.

You can always find me on Instagram @homeconfidenceco—I love hearing how these practices land with you and what kinds of conversations you're walking into with a bit more peace and confidence.

When the Housework Feels Thankless & Never ending: What to Do With Resentment, and Everyday Mom Life Dec 23, 2025
    Show notes

In this episode of Encourage Moments, I'm talking about those weeks when everything feels like too much and all the work you're doing- at home, with kids, at your job- feels completely thankless and invisible. If you've ever found yourself standing over the 10th load of laundry wondering, "What am I even doing? Does any of this matter?" this one is for you.

We'll walk through how to notice and name resentment without shaming yourself, why your feelings make sense, and how to start giving yourself the validation you've been waiting for from everyone else. You'll hear a simple, gentle practice: speaking kind words over your own work and then asking, "What do I need in this moment?" so you can slowly empty the resentment bucket and make room for real gratitude and joy again.

If this episode resonates, come tell me over on Instagram @homeconfidenceco- I love hearing your stories and what your days actually look like. And if you're craving more support, encouragement, and little reminders that you're not alone in the daily grind, scroll the feed or queue up more Encourage Moments episodes to keep you company while you move through your everyday mom life.

Of Course- How 2 Words Can Bring More Self-Compassion to Motherhood Dec 22, 2025
    Show notes

Sign up for the Free Home Pep Talk audio series here!

In this episode of the EncourageMoment podcast, we explore how two simple words- "of course"- can transform the way we talk to ourselves. So many women, especially moms, tend to be harsh self-critics, especially when we fall short of their idealized version of ourselves. Instead of letting self-judgment spiral, let's flip the script: use "of course" as a tool for self-compassion.

For example, instead of saying, "Of course I lost it again," try, "Of course I lost it- I've been going nonstop and am doing my best." This shift helps us acknowledge our humanity, validate our struggles, and build ourselves up rather than tear ourselves down. No one is perfect, and we can't compare ourselves to others, especially on social media.

This episode of EncourageMoment is your permission slip to be human. No one has it all togethe. Practice compassionate "of course" this week and watch resentment melt away.

Let me know how it goes! Send me a DM @homeconfidenceco on Instagram.

How Decluttering is a Profound Act of Self Trust Dec 04, 2025
    Show notes

For those of us who tend to be hypervigilant or perfection-driven about making the "right" choice, even small decisions like parting with Legos or an old pair of boots can feel overwhelming. In this mini episode, explore why taking that leap to let go...even without absolute certainty- is actually an empowering act of faith and self-trust. Learn how embracing imperfect decisions can boost your self-esteem and foster the home confidence that transforms clutter struggles into personal growth. Whether you're deciding to donate, sell, or simply release, this episode offers gentle encouragement to move forward with courage and kindness toward yourself.

Three Easy Ways to Stay Authentic and Remember Who You Are in Social Settings Oct 28, 2025
    Show notes

Welcome back to the Kind Organizing Podcast! Today I'm chatting about three super simple ways to remember who you are—especially in those social moments when you feel yourself slipping into people-pleasing mode or forgetting what actually matters to you.

If small talk, holiday family gatherings, or being around new people makes you want to take care of everyone else and kinda abandon yourself (been there), this episode is totally for you. I get how easy it is to start shrinking back or becoming whoever you think others want you to be. Let's break that habit together... I'm sharing a few real-life tricks, including using a special object to help you stay grounded (think bracelet, pendant, or anything you can actually hold onto as your reminder)- mine is from a company called Narrative Jewelry- there are lots of great options out there.

Want more encouragement or some practical ways to feel validated at home and in your everyday life? Check out my Home Validation Toolkit—it's the resource I wish I'd had years ago, an audio course with a very easy daily process to help you reconnect with yourself. Hit the link in these notes or swing by my website for all the details and to grab your toolkit!

I love hearing how these ideas work for you, so drop me a DM, leave a comment, or just let me know if you try something from this episode. Have an awesome week—I'm cheering you on every step of the way.

The One Question to Shift from Self-Blame to Self-Kindness at Home | Mindset & Mom Life Sep 23, 2025
    Show notes

Welcome back to the Kind Organizing Podcast! I'm so glad you're here. In this quick car chat episode, I'm sharing a new and better question I've been asking myself when I catch myself being hard on myself in my home or daily life.

If you've ever felt that inner critic whispering, "What's wrong with me?" when something small goes wrong—like trying to assemble Ikea furniture or forgetting to put a trash liner in the bin—I want you to know you're not alone. I'll tell you about a moment recently with the trash liner that opened my eyes to how self-compassion can transform these everyday frustrations.

Instead of asking, "Why do I always mess up?" I started asking, "How can I make this easier on myself?" And that gentle shift in mindset made a huge difference. I'll share why this question invites kindness and opens the door to simple solutions we might never have considered before.

Plus, I'll talk about how this mindset can help with things like running late, managing kids' shoes at the door, or any other small pain points that add up to daily stress.

I'd love for you to try out this question this week and see what comes up. Remember, you are worth that kindness, and it's okay to be on the same team with yourself.

You can find me on Instagram @kindorganizing, and don't forget to check out the Kind Home Shop for courses & resources and stay tuned for a new cozy product... ;)

Thanks for listening — sending you a big hug until next time!
