Hello and welcome to the latest Round Table Episode of Eclectic ChitChat!

Sadly, we are still bereft of Slade's presence, soon he shall make his return. Regardless, we continue onward!

We have put the aspect of modern dating to rest and pivoted to western (American) society and the degradation thereof. There will be some parallels between both series, due to similar issues being present in each arena.

Our first foray into this concept settled upon the idea of "Lost Personal Responsibility" and the entities and systems partially responsible for it.

We get some tinfoil thrown in at my profession's expense; I personally feel we threaded the needle very well between quackery and objective facts regarding the topic. NUANCE ATTAINED!!

Pitiful Pittances for Pornographers: It just ain't worth it Oct 01, 2021

Show notes

Howdy All!

This is our 3rd and final episode regarding the concept of modern dating and relationships. We delve into the concept of pornography, the onset of the Only Fans/Sexual gratification culture, and the effect it is having upon our current developing generations.

We get into the weeds on this topic a few different times, but this is to be expected when you have varied voices and perceptions. We actually brought some science to bear this time around, instead of solely our personal observations and experience.

Below is a series of studies that go over the effects of pornography addiction and neurodevelopment:

American Endgame: South Africa Sep 18, 2021

Howdy! Today we're goin'g things a bit differently, if you're watching you can see I have a distinct lack of dapper. You all get to see a little more of my everyday wear. Lemme know if it works or if you would like me to upgrade the fedora to a derby! No pretentious word of the day today, just interview content all the way!! Today I'm interviewing a friend of mine from South Africa. He is a lawyer by trade, having done business with for the Church of Scientology to China; this makes him quite the experienced fellow. He is a political hobbyist, which is how our circles crossed, with an insiders look at the current turmoil in South Africa and what led his nation there.... We discuss the chilling parallels that the US currently holds with them. We touch on a lot of different topics ranging from childhood to exotic guard animals. It's pretty damn fun. Hope you all enjoy!

HOWDY!

We're mixing it up a bit with a round table chitchat! We haven't had one of these in a long while.

But in today's modern world, we have created some modern problems in the arena of dating.

This will be a series of round tables as we wade through a myriad of facets of modern dating. Enjoy!

Pretentious Word of the Day:

Eros Eros (/ˈɪərɒs/ or /ˈɛrɒs/; Ancient Greek: ἔρως érōs "love" or "desire") is a concept in ancient Greek philosophy referring to sensual or passionate love, from which the term erotic is derived. Eros has also been used in philosophy and psychology in a much wider sense, almost as an equivalent to "life energy". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eros_(concept)

This is the real deal. Enjoy fellow tin foil hatters... and hold onto your pants skeptics. 2021 is going to only get crazier.

United Sovereign States of Revolution Jul 09, 2021

Howdy!

Welcome to another Chit for Chats!

I have the distinct pleasure of sitting down with Mr. Rose, a Russian immigrant/Refugee of the USSR, and blossoming entrepreneur!

Check out her company! ** Activearticulation.com **

In 1989, her parents brought her to America following the fall of the USSR. We discuss the transition that her family had to undertake, to assimilate to America; we touch on the "privilege" that is associated with such an undertaking. We pivot to discussion the parallels between the totalitarian governance of the USSR and it's complicity with the industrial/corporate oligarchy formed within its purview... and how that neatly is reflected in the current state of the American Union.

History repeats itself often...

Students of history may see the signs of the next cycle; while authorities domestic and abroad seek to bring it to fruition.

With the advent of these platforms, which the authorities are now seeking to censor, the machinations of the powers that wish to exist through perpetuity are being laid bare. We must strive to keep cooler heads, to prevent the bloody revolutions of yesteryear from making an encore.

We're back with a new interview!!

Today I sit down with Dr. Anand Iyer; chief resident psychiatrist at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, and Dr. Meghan Bratton, fellow physician in child and adolescent psychiatry at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. We discuss instances where they observed the extreme boundaries of the human psyche, their paths to their specialty, and provide a general inside view to the world of medicine.

We even get a fairly in depth description of ketamine medical applications and mechanism of action!

We enjoyed ourselves so much, we are considering making this a regular thing. A rotating panel of psychiatrists made available to field questions and provide discussions on advances in the field.

Give us a like and a drop a comment on the Youtube channel if you'd enjoy further discussion around a particular topic!
