On this episode of the East Meets West Hunt podcast, Beau Martonik is joined by the legendary western mountain buck hunter, Troy Pottenger. Troy hunts some of the wildest country for whitetails in the Rocky Mountains, but his tactics are applicable in many other areas. They discuss what elevations to find mountain bucks, food sources in the mountains, grizzly country, breaking down large areas, how to find the perfect tree to set up in, how slope affects buck bedding, logging cuts, weather fronts, summer scouting, and much more.
