How much emphasis should be put this season on the month of November for Nebraska football? Jun 29, 2026

Show notes

-Sip wrote about this yesterday and it is something we bring up a lot on the show---Nebraska has simply been horrible in November since Bo

Pelini was fired---hence the lack of many bowl games or seasons worth remembering at all

-We shouldn’t have to go back for years and years about embarrassing losses in the month or blowouts to bad teams…and this November

provides a believable chance at a 2-2 or 3-1 record if they are any good….how do you emphasize that in the offseason?

Fernando Mendoza says he doesn’t plan on donating to Indiana’s NIL fund anytime soon…should he or former players feel the need to anyways? Jun 29, 2026

Show notes

-Mendoza mentioned this weekend that he plans on donating a lot of money to Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research and cures because of what it

means to his family with his mother dealing with it…and at the same time said that he doesn’t plan to donate back to Indiana at least for a

while

-The question is this: should recent players be asked to give back to NIL funds? Would they do it? Should they have to? Seems like a lot to ask…

The Stool is back from an epic time in Pender…whatever we thought that would look like, it was even better Jun 29, 2026

Show notes

-It’s a pretty slow time in sports, so let’s chat Pender---the people showed up in large quantities for the remote broadcast from downtown, and

the golf tournament went as well as it possibly could

-We saw McSafety rolling in putts in a bucket hat; Sip impressing his whole group with his golf skills; Taylor scaring Bill as he was driving the golf

cart…the words “I’m not getting back in that death trap with you” were heard at one point in the parking lot after the round….what a time
