What is your interest level in the next 2 games? Remember what we said a few weeks ago about Iowa and Wisconsin… Nov 15, 2022

Show notes

-Jake and Sip discussed a few weeks ago that Nebraska NEEDED to end one of the losing streaks to Wisconsin (8 games) or Iowa (7 games) no matter what happened this year

-Wisconsin looked bad on Saturday in their 24-10 loss to Iowa, but still, they are better than Nebraska. And what would a win over either of those teams really do in discussing this season? Not much.

-Interest level is low. Trev Alberts has a tough job in figuring out who is the next coach here.

Show notes

-Social media was already bad enough the last 2 months, and now it’s just a disaster of people claiming things because people have LOST. THEIR. PATIENCE.

-It’s all uncomfortable and frankly unappealing. But, I guess when your season’s goals are officially out the window with no bowl game possible, you start the rumor mill up to keep yourself entertained

-Is this still fun for anyone or is just a long nightmare filled of anxiety and nervousness?

There’s yet another story in college football this year that shows that it doesn’t take years to become respectable / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe) Nov 14, 2022

Show notes

-Remember making fun of UConn for years? Well, they deserved it. But now, they’re the ones laughing, as they upset Liberty on Saturday to move to 6-5 on the season and become bowl-eligible under Jim Mora, Jr.

-Between UConn, Kansas, Illinois, Duke, and others, there’s too many quick turnarounds for perennial underdogs to believe that Nebraska can’t become more than respectable as soon as next year.
