-Yes, Nebraska is a very unfortunate 0-2 and is minus-6 in turnovers. Those are very true facts. But the defense is performing well and that has to mean something

-Look at the rest of the schedule. You have Northern Illinois and Louisiana Tech coming up---not guaranteed wins but games Nebraska is favored in. Michigan is a likely loss…but what games after that can you say for sure it’s a “likely loss”? It kind of comes down to if they bounce back this weekend

-Who is scary on the schedule besides Michigan? No one in the West…and Michigan State has big issues, plus Maryland is good but not unbeatable….can we take a deep breath or not?

Nebraska has some big, BIG problems at QB, as Colorado rolls in the 2nd half to a 36-14 win in Boulder Sep 11, 2023

-Uh….it looks like Week 1 wasn’t a fluke ‘bad’ performance for Jeff Sims. It might just be what he is. Sims had 2 baffling fumbles in the first half on simple shotgun snaps, a horrible INT on Nebraska’s side of the field, and it never got on track

-The defense did well for a long time before it seemed clear that the offense wasn’t going to help out at all, but overall---8 sacks for the defense is wonderful, just can’t survive so many offensive turnovers

-Is Jeff Sims the starting QB this Saturday for Nebraska’s home opener against Northern Illinois? How bad is the depth and overall talent at QB on this roster?
