Nebraska is in a great place heading to November to potentially win the West, but it seems like they can’t stop their turnover epidemic Oct 30, 2023

Show notes

-Nebraska’s 24 fumbles (not all lost) lead the country, and we once again saw that affect the game EARLY, with a fumble on the opening kickoff. Thank goodness the defense is so good and made that mean no points for Purdue

-It’s a topic we have discussed at length, and so have Matt Rhule and Marcus Satterfield…but all that talk led to 4 more lost fumbles on Saturday, despite the 17 point win

-You start to wonder how good the team could be if they didn’t just give the ball away…November brings colder weather and potential snow…what exactly can you do at this point?

Nebraska finishes off their first undefeated October in 22 years with a 31-14 win over Purdue, and now enters November tied for the B1G West lead Oct 30, 2023

Show notes

-It seems like we say this a lot---it wasn’t pretty, but it was a win. And that’s all you can ask for sometimes, as Nebraska clawed their way to a 24-0 lead and went on to win, 31-14

-Nebraska now sits at 5-3 overall and 3-2 in conference play as they head to Michigan State, who stunk up the second half in a 27-12 loss to Minnesota…a bowl berth could be clinched this weekend!

-4 turnovers were concerning again, including the ridiculous fumble return for a TD off a Jeff Sims turnover….but they did notch 3 turnovers of their own on defense and did return a blocked kick for TD
