As expected, whenever Dylan Raiola says something about Nebraska, people pay attention---even if they probably shouldn’t care Aug 06, 2026

Show notes

-We suppose we’ll chat about the story that is bothering Husker fans the last few days, with Dylan Raiola commenting about the

differences between Nebraska and Oregon---saying there’s no cornfields in Oregon, there’s more football talent in Eugene, etc…

-It’s taken us 2 days to even get to this topic because it doesn’t really bother us much---nor should it bother the fans---it’s a new year

and he’s not here anymore. Why should anyone care or be bothered about what he says?

Nebraska didn’t have the success it thought it did under Adrian Martinez as a mobile QB…why should things be better with Anthony Colandrea as a similar player? Aug 06, 2026

Show notes

-Fall camp is underway, and Nebraska needs Colandrea to be able to extend plays and drives, which he can with his ‘chaos gene’---

some of his stats last year compared him to Arkansas’ Taylon Green at QB---but it makes us ponder what can be different than the

previous era of a running QB

-Dylan Raiola was not that—and while he had some nice passing ability, it wasn’t enough with the o-line woes---but if you go back to

Adrian’s time in Lincoln, what is different (besides a head coach) that will help this team be better and win in close games?
