-CBS Sports’ Tom Fornelli---hey, remember him from all the offseason topics we had??---was doing his weekly write-up on the B1G and while he said he was happy for Nebraska’s start, he has concerns

-Fornelli writes that the offense’s down-to-down success rate is 43.9% (against 2 bad defenses) that ranks Nebraska 11^th in the B1G and 61^st nationally; also, the offense’s explosive play rate of 10.8% ranks 90^th nationally

-And—Nebraska is only scoring 3.9 points per possession in the red zone, ranking 97^th nationally. Are these all valid reasons to take a step back and see what happens…or not?

-Also, the Pac-12 is still alive! Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, and San Diego State plan to join the conference in 2026

Nebraska’s run game has been solid but not great…will we start to see bigger chunk plays? Sep 10, 2024

-Through 2 games, Nebraska has just one run longer than 15 yards this season. They have had good moments of running for 4-5 yards though and extending drives

-On a positive note about lack of huge runs---Nebraska is 5^th in the country in time of possession through 2 games---they’re not turning the ball over and they are keeping drives going for the most part
