We’re onto conference play for Nebraska after a perfect non-conference slate…what gives you most optimism about B1G play for the Huskers? Sep 16, 2024

Show notes

-There was some concern from fans regarding Nebraska’s rush defense against Northern Iowa, who didn’t look overwhelmed in that regard despite getting beat by 31 points

-We still probably are thinking that 7-0 is too good to be true before the Ohio State game…but Nebraska will still likely remain the favorite in all games leading up to it…are they ranked where they should be?

Nebraska moves to 3-0 for the first time since 2016 with a 34-3 win over Northern Iowa…and here comes undefeated Illinois to Lincoln Sep 16, 2024

Show notes

-Dylan Raiola was excellent for Nebraska, despite throwing his first INT of his career (on a play that really wasn’t his fault), as the Huskers rolled over Northern Iowa

-For those who expected a shutout---3 points will suffice, but it came on a LONG impressive drive in the first quarter…the defense gave up some plays after that but nothing of huge substance

-Nebraska once again rises up the rankings…but we should have a good game in Lincoln on Friday night
