If Nebraska can’t get fired up to beat Wisconsin for so many reasons on Saturday, there is something seriously wrong with the program Nov 19, 2024

Show notes

-Let’s look at Wisconsin first: a program Nebraska has lost to 10 straight times and has not beaten since 2012 in Lincoln. Pathetic.

-Wisconsin has made 22 straight bowl games. You know all the excitement that Iowa fans get when they beat Nebraska to end the season and keep them out of a bowl game at 5-7? Nebraska could have that excitement while clinching a bowl game themselves

-If we see a team that is lost or lethargic on Saturday, how exactly do you change that going forward?

-Also, Rhule's comment on the state of walk-on programs

Luke Fickell says Wisconsin will have a collaborative group of playcallers the rest of the season…does that ever work? Nov 19, 2024

Show notes

-Bill has been part of staffs that changed coordinators during the season on both sides of the ball, and it’s definitely an odd look with 2 games to go

-Fickell said yesterday that he “doesn’t think it’s really important” for who is calling plays and that several people will help with it…that just doesn’t sound right, does it?

With 2 games to go, Nebraska has games left against teams that have owned them most of the last 10 years…Matt Rhule has to find a way to get over a hump Nov 18, 2024

Show notes

-Rhule was not hired at Nebraska to barely make bowl games or barely miss them---through nearly 2 seasons, that’s what we have though. No one is calling for his head yet but it will be REALLY uncomfortable if he goes 0-4 in November again

-Up next for Nebraska is Wisconsin, who the Huskers haven’t beaten since 2012. Several close calls the last few years have all gone the Badgers way, as they come off a 16-13 loss to Oregon on Saturday

-Matt Rhule is 2-9 in one score games at Nebraska and the Huskers are now 6-25 in one score games over the past 10 years
