CBS Sports documented each B1G team’s most recent unanimous All-American, and it’s not a great look for Nebraska Jul 14, 2025

Show notes

Nebraska’s last unanimous All-American was Prince Amukamara in 2010….which means they’ve never had an All-American in their B1G era. Hard to believe and not good at all

Others that stand out..Rutgers has had one ever (TE Marco Battaglia, 1995)…and none for Maryland since 1974!

Sip has already made his official prediction for the upcoming Nebraska year, and it seems like something most fans would be happy with Jul 14, 2025

Show notes

Sip made his official prediction for the season for Husker Online and had Nebraska at 9-3….including a win over USC at home but a loss at UCLA and Penn State

We all know that Nebraska fired 2 coaches that had won 9 games, and that has been universally mocked---rightfully so---for what’s happened since then. That’s why a 9-3 season that ends just short of the playoff would be almost 100% celebrated here…right?

If you’re concerned about the B1G’s ability to produce a national champion this year, it might come down to one big thing Jul 11, 2025

Show notes

The Athletic ranked it’s Top 25 B1G players for the upcoming season…and only had one QB listed (Drew Allar). 13 players on defense were selected and 12 offense were selected

We always wonder where Dylan Raiola stacks up in the conference…but are we sure the QB play is good enough in the league to possibly win a 3rd straight national title?

PJ Fleck is sticking with the Gophers through 2030 with an extension this week…will he be there for the long haul? / Shut Up Sipple (sponsored by Bagels & Joe) Jul 11, 2025

Show notes

The 44-year-old Fleck has been at Minnesota since 2017, and has a 58-39 record overall and 6-0 record in bowl games

It’s hard to ever see Minnesota getting over the hump in the B1G to the playoffs in the NIL era…so will we ever see PJ become a hot name again in college football or is he sticking with the Gophers for a long time (if not fired eventually)?

Would an every year same non-conference opponent for Nebraska be good for the program and for the sport? Jul 11, 2025

Show notes

Colorado AD Rick George said at Big 12 Media Days that he would love to play Nebraska every single year if it was possible, because it’s good for the sport to have more rivalries or consistent games happening

Would Nebraska fans turn down the chance to play Colorado every year in a non-conference game if it was an option?
