Dabo Swinney had some words for his haters yesterday at his weekly press conference…will we see a run of wins from them like we saw the last time he addressed his critics? Sep 17, 2025

Show notes

We played the audio 2 years ago of Tyler from Spartanburg calling into Dabo’s weekly radio show and being critical---after that moment, Clemson went on a heater to end the year

Yesterday, addressing media after Clemson’s 1-2 start, Dabo said, “If they want me gone, they can send me on my way. If they’re tired of winning, they can send me on my way. I won’t stop. I’m 55. I’ll go somewhere else and win…we’ve won this league 8 of the last 10 years. Is that good?”

Dana Holgorsen met with media to discuss Nebraska’s offense ahead of it’s B1G opener vs. Michigan…can the Huskers clean up their red zone offense? Sep 17, 2025

Show notes

Nebraska’s offense has scored at a very high rate this season through 3 games, but has struggled to score inside the red zone, and specifically inside the 10-yard line. Nebraska’s OC pointed to the scoring rate of playoff teams last year inside the 10 and the Huskers are just behind the desired rate of 70%....which is wayyyyyy up from last year being around 40%

Holgorsen was complimentary of Emmett Johnson also…he surely will be a big reason if Nebraska is to beat Michigan this weekend

The supposed ‘Big 3’ QBs in college football haven’t really looked good so far…was everyone wrong or is there still hope for a turnaround? Sep 16, 2025

Show notes

Everywhere you looked before the season listed these 3 QBs as the best in the country, in any sort of order: LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier, Texas’ Arch Manning and Clemson’s Cade Klubnik

So far: Nussmeier has 3 TDs, 2 INTs through 3 games; Klubnik has 3 TDs/3 INTs; and Manning has 6 TDs/3 INTs, but is only at 55% accuracy. What is going on with this Big 3?
