The B1G apparently has no plans to join the SEC and ACC in their quest to play at least 10 power conference games going forward…do they need to? Sep 25, 2025

Show notes

Not long ago, the discussion was about the SEC being at 8 conference games as well as the ACC, while the B1G was playing 9. Now, they’re all playing 9 conference games and the SEC/ACC both said they’ll require at least one non-conference game to be against a power conference team

As of yesterday, the B1G remained in their stance about not requiring a power conference non-conference game….will that change and does it need to?

Maybe the B1G is better at QB than we thought before the season---if you’re a believer in passer efficiency Sep 24, 2025

Show notes

CBS Sports’ Tom Fornelli did his weekly B1G breakdown and pointed that that—even though it’s early in the season---the B1G has the top 5 QBs of passer rating in the nation. Those QBs in order are: Jayden Maiava, Fernando Mendoza, Julian Sayin, Demond Williams and Dante Moore. Not to mention that Dylan Raiola is 14th, Luke Altmyer is 15th, and Aidan Chiles is 18th

That also stacks up with current Heisman odds, as Mendoza is the favorite (!!!), Moore is 3rd, and Maiava/Sayin/Allar are all currently Top 16 in odds at 25-to-1 or better
