Now that Nebraska has clinched a bowl game…what’s a reasonable goal for the rest of the season? Oct 27, 2025

Show notes

We finally don’t enter November needing to win a game to clinch the postseason…and 23rd ranked USC comes to town this Saturday for a 6:30pm kick on NBC…big opportunity for Nebraska

Also, yes---UCLA got smoked by Indiana---but they’ll still be a challenge…and look at Iowa beating Minnesota, 41-6…that game will be another tough one in Lincoln (side note: does Iowa have a chance at the Playoff still? Beat Oregon and we’ll see…)

At the end of September, we said Nebraska needed to go 4-0 or 3-1 in October….they went 3-1…are you satisfied with the month or still pissed about the Minnesota game? Oct 27, 2025

Show notes

The Stool said 4-0 was feasible with the schedule for the month, but we know how things go for Nebraska usually when all looks well…yes, they had a horrible clunker vs. the Gophers, but still won their other 3 games

As this program continues to build and avoid dumb critical mistakes…how do you assess October now that it’s over?

The top 2 ranked teams in the country are in the B1G, but Texas A&M looked absolutely terrifying on Saturday night in their blowout win at LSU Oct 27, 2025

Show notes

Indiana was outstanding again (56-6 win over UCLA), and we can’t overlook that at all---but WOW did the Aggies look incredible in a 49-25 beatdown in Baton Rouge

Brian Kelly looked pissed off the whole game on camera as Marcel Reed and the A&M offense rolled up 426 yards of offense

It’s not a Husker football game without a roller-coaster, but this one results in a victory over Northwestern, 28-21, and postseason eligibility before November Oct 27, 2025

Show notes

It was another low scoring first half with Nebraska leading, 7-6----then Kenneth Williams returned the opening kickoff of the 2nd half for a TD---another TD made it 21-6…but Northwestern somehow got this game tied at 21-all

Then, a terrible INT by Dylan Raiola…a big INT by Javin Wright…and a long drive with 4 3rd down conversions helped the Huskers to a much-needed 28-21 win and a guaranteed bowl game. How will they play in November?
