Princess Titus and Michelle Horovitz grew up with deep personal connections to food. In 2011, they (along with LaTasha Powell) co-founded Appetite for Change, a non-profit using food as a tool for health, wealth, and social change. Appetite for Change runs a variety of programs, from cooking workshops Community Cooks, to food justice coalition Northside Fresh, to the delicious restaurant Breaking Bread Cafe. Check out this episode to hear more about the importance of letting youth lead, the lines that food can blur, and the healing power of food!
