In this episode of Do the Work, Az and Carla the couple share with their listeners about the ups and downs of being in business with your spouse. Roles at home don't necessarily carry over into the workplace, and vice versa. Setting firm boundaries and clear guidelines won't make things perfect but will push you forward towards success. Treat your spouse like an equal to give them the confidence to show up like a boss. You will never have a more loyal and honest person to have your back.

    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, AZ and Carla discuss how when your spouse feels down, you should also. Or should you? Trying to entice your partner into an argument when you are not up to par, is just a form of sabotage. Recognizing that your spouse is being triggered by something and stepping back is a form of growth. When you do this you will be able to connect in your marriage at a deeper level. ________________________________

    The Game of Entitlement | 030 Aug 16, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, AZ and Carla discuss how entitlement in your relationship can lead to conflict; Spending your time trying to figure out what may be bothering your spouse, when all they need is space is a slippery slope. Give your partner that space to figure out what is triggering them, instead of mirroring their anger. When you step back, the real trigger will disappear and so will the target on your head. _______________________________

    School Days | 029 Aug 14, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, Carla addresses how parenting is hard, and judgemental; People are always shaming other parents. The pressure of the perfect first day social media post, kids perfectly dressed standing in front of a chalkboard announcing the excitement of the day. The reality; juggling the house, job, school shopping, doctors appointments, figuring out the scheduling challenges;the hustle getting ready for school. Don't judge a parent that works thinking they are only in 50%, thinking you are better because you stay home and have it all going on. Don't assume that because there are 2 parents in the home, the parent running around has a partner, and helper. Doesn't make either parent bad, we are all just facing challenges parents do; but tend to always fall on one parent, whether they work or not. That working parent is already dealing with the guilt of having a career; they don't need the struggle of your judgement. Parenting is hard, but it's worth it; don't be ashamed of your reality. ________________________________

Stop Paying the Toll to the Troll | 028 Aug 09, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do The Work, AZ and Carla are in the studio discussing Trolling. A recent run-in with an internet troll has given Carla the ability to exercise her power and show that you shouldn't mess with a strong woman. If you are obsessed with bringing others down, expending all of your energy on negativity, you risk running into that individual who will stop you in your tracks. Focus your time and effort on fixing your insecurities and issues, and keep your fucking opinions to yourself. Don't give others the satisfaction of drawing you down to their level. Stop suppressing, delaying and looking for acceptance. Steamroll that shit and move forward.

    Shame Talk | 027 Aug 07, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, Carla is solo in the studio and ready to get started. Shame is conditioned and comes out from somewhere in our lives; It overtakes us. Shame caused Carla to be hateful, because of jealousy, and comparison; we create the stories of shame. We show up this way in our relationship and our business because we cannot overcome shame. Why do you feel shame? Are you asking yourself the powerful questions? Can you feel the success? Are you living in the space that was created by shame? You need to dig deep, deep enough to find the source; quit creating the stories in your head to validate the shame. Free yourself, gain power and feel amazing by releasing yourself from everything that is stopping you from being you.

    Overwhelmed | 026 Aug 02, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, AZ and Carla discuss how significant changes are coming their way and to this podcast. Although being pumped up for what is happening, they need not get overwhelmed and focus on the small tasks each day. Putting in the reps every day has put them where they are. Looking back at where they were, fuels them forward to be where they want to be.

In this episode of Do the Work, Carla is in the studio alone using those pipes God gave her to share her story about all the Reps in her life that she has done to get to where she is. Carla chose to be all in and if you want to be all in you need to be all in. She has suffered through failed businesses and failing marriage, and she shared it all and by doing that removed all the fear. Don't let people live your happiness for you.

    Agenda's | 024 Jul 24, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode of Do the Work, AZ and Carla tackle the topic of Agendas. They are on everybody's mind. A compliment, an email, a text message rarely comes without an agenda attached to it. Whether it's yours or someone else's, your time is the most valuable asset. You need to learn to manage others people's agendas, so those meeting that isn't a priority won't manipulate your time. This is the difference between people who get things done and those that don't. Stop pleasing other people and please yourself.

Standing in your power and knowing what you believe in takes courage. It's important to realize that your behavior impacts people.
