Dallas is in Boston this week watching the Red Sox absolutely curb-stomp the A's and he has some pretty strong feelings about a particular establishment he visited last night. The Braves are FIRED UP and have won 14 straight against the worst teams in baseball. Joey gives his take and talks about where they might stand at the end of the season when the Mets go through a similar stretch in mid September. There were two immaculate innings in the same game with the exact same three guys at bat each time. Dallas thinks it's crazy and Jared doesn't care. We also talk about Dave Roberts being put in really tough scenarios where he has to decide between letting pitchers try to achieve huge milestones or protecting them from injury and preserving their careers. Jared and Joey give their takes on whether or not they'll actually make the playoffs. The Guardians are a 1/2 game out of a wild card sport and Joey says they have no fucking chance to even sniff October. Jared reveals that he was the mastermind behind getting Dave Portnoy into the Mike Trout fantasy league which prompts discussion of starting a revenge league among players who aren't in MLB anymore but may be trying to get back in. Baseball Is Dead Episode 20: Mohawk Maddon Part 1 Jun 13, 2022

In a shocking turn of events it was revealed that prior to receiving the news that he would no longer be managing the Angels, Joe Maddon had his hair cut into a mohawk in yet ANOTHER attempt to fire up the boys. Who's to say that if he had just one more day in his tenure as Angels manager he couldn't have completely turned the season around with the Maddon mohawk. Unfortunately, the the world will never know. Dallas is in Boston and escaped his duties to clean in a maid outfit because Jake has food poisoning, but there is another bet on the line for this series if the A's sweep the Red Sox. The Yankees refuse to lose games despite Gerrit Cole having the highest ERA among Yankees starters. This prompts a live tweet from Jared that is sure to trigger some spicy replies. As we all know, Dallas orchestrated an organizational-wide meeting with players and the front office and demanded that Geren was fired. Baseball Is Dead Episode 19: A Final Firing Up Of The Boys Part 1 Jun 09, 2022

So far we've opened up the voicemails twice; once for Phillies fans and once for Angels fans. The managers of each of those teams were immediately fired upon the release of those episodes. This time it was Joe Maddon of the Los Angeles Angels. In a last-ditch effort to fire up the boys, Joe Maddon has sacrificed himself for the good of the boys to try to break out this now 14-game losing skid. So far it hasn't worked. Joe Girardi, on the other hand, successfully pulled off the "sacrifice yourself for the boys" move as the Phillies are 6-0 since he was relieved of managerial duties in Philly. This of course leads to discussion of the massive cocaine ring that is in place among the mascots of MLB teams. We also get into Dallas' beef with Jose Canseco and relive the moment he absolutely roasted him last year, talk about the Mariners potentially being back, and discuss Dusty Baker's one-game suspension and whether it was justified.
