We’re giving our early predictions for where we think some of these guys could end up and which teams might make the most sense. The Houston Astros are your 2022 World Series Champions! After looking like the team of destiny throughout the playoffs, the Phillies offense disappeared in the final three games of the World Series and their miracle run has come to an end. Framber Valdez looked cool as a cucumber on the mound in Game 6 and pitched like he’s been there a million times (which he has). Yordan Álvarez hit a TANK to dead center field to all but clinch another title for the Astros. Jeremy Peña won World Series MVP after winning ALCS MVP in his rookie year… what a stud. The Astros finally have a legitimate title on the board and it’s a bad day for Astros haters. That’s the first year in the books for Baseball Is Dead! The Astros win Game 5 behind an overdue strong start by Justin Verlander in the World Series. Dallas took a victory lap after going up 1-0 in the top of the first and blocked Jared and Joey on Twitter. Chas McCormick made a spectacular catch in center field to preserve the lead in the ninth and many people are dubbing this the “Chas” game. Astros fans are upset at people saying this would be their first legit title event though it’s an absolute fact. We’re also looking ahead to Game 6 and breaking down what the Phillies mindset needs to be going into this weekend in Houston.
