Episode 14 - David McMillan Dec 08, 2019

Show notes

On this episode of the podcast I sit down with a close friend of mine who played a large part in helping my start my World Cup career.

David McMillan and myself have been racing bikes together since we were 13 and 14 years old through vic and national races and when it was time to go international we we decided to all jump in a old beat up transit van with 3 other mates and see how we’d go.

We go over the struggles of being a privateer at World Cups and trying to find help wherever you can along the way.

We also go over David’s change from racing to more of a free ride media personality and the start of the Vanzacs.

Enjoy!

Episode 11 - Ethan Stothers Nov 02, 2019

Show notes

Today on the podcast Iv decided to go a little bit of a different direction and talk with someone that has no background in mountain biking but has an amazing outlook on life.

This will still be a mountain bike focused podcast but I’d also like to branch out to other people outside of the industry that I really enjoy talking with.

Ethan Stothers is a good friend of mine from Newcastle that I met through my old team mate Jack Moir.Ethan and I first made contact with each through dumb Instagram comments and then first met at the 2017 world champs in Cairns were we hit it off straight away.Ever since then every time we get together we always seem to have really good in-depth talk so I thought why not have one of those chats on the podcast.

Episode 5 - John Hall, Aaron Pelttari Jul 16, 2019

Show notes

On this episode of the podcast I sit down with two of the most well know and charismatic mechanics on the world cup circuit. They are both lucky enough to be able to wrench at a world cup level and call it a full time job.Former team members and now good friends John Hall and Aaron Pelttari along with their riders Aaron Gwin and Troy Brosnan have racked up countless wins and overalls together in recent years. With ridicules speed week in and week out and floorless consistency out of both of these rides you always wonder how much of that comes from them and how much comes from the people they have around them making sure everything is dialled.

With our sport being won and lost by the smallest of margins every little bit counts so having complete faith in your mechanic and being able to work through a race weekend more efficiently might just give you that 1% you were looking for.
Lets see what they think.

Enjoy the chat!
