The Crown & Anchor, PTown | July 5th, 2k24 (Part 3) Aug 21, 2024

Show notes

Please enjoy Part 3 - the final 80-minutes - of my 5-hour daytime set at the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown this year over 4th of July week. As I alluded to earlier in my Part 2 notes, this final section is a wild ride! I basically was just like, "f-ck it" and threw whatever I was feeling in the moment against the wall. (especially the last 25-minutes!!)... of course, this usually makes for the best moments.

There are quite a few classics in here - "Charlie Brown" (Dave Audé's Coldplay remix), "Heartbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely" (Junior's full 10+ minute anthem!), my own remixes of "Pink Pony Club" (Chappell Roan) and "Love Lift Me Up" (Debby Holiday), and (if you know me) my trademark homage to Hex Hector with his (full-length!) remix of Faith Hill's "Breathe."

You'll either love these 80-minutes of music... or wonder "WTF was he thinking?!" ... either way, it's pure me.

The Crown & Anchor, PTown | July 5th, 2k24 (Part 2) Aug 09, 2024

The Crown & Anchor, PTown | July 5th, 2k24 (Part 1) Aug 04, 2024

Show notes

In addition to my already-posted Boatslip tea dance set, I played a 5-hour daytime set at the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown this year, which I'm sharing in three parts. This set presented an opportunity to have a lot of fun and pull out some tracks I haven't used in a while. Please enjoy Part 1 - the warmup - a smorgasbord of disco, daytime house, and some fun throwbacks! Parts 2 & 3 will follow in the coming weeks!

Stars & Stripes Tea 2k24 | The Boatslip, Provincetown (Part 2) Jul 29, 2024

Show notes

Welcome to Part 2 of my tea dance set from the world-famous Boatslip in Provincetown over 4th of July week 2024. This is the peak half, just as the dance floor filled up and the party was in full swing. For my true house heads, the second half of this set (from Chappell Road onward) might not be your cup of tea (pun intended!)... but others will absolutely love it. It’s a classic PTown tea dance experience, with a healthy dose of throwbacks. For me - and the dance floor - it was the moment.

And yes, I did drop One Direction in this set... and it slayed.

As always, I am so grateful to DJ Maryalice for inviting me to play yet another year in what I consider a religious summer experience.

But wait… there’s more! I recorded my 5-hour daytime set from the Crown & Anchor on July 5th, which I’ll share in the coming weeks.

Stars & Stripes Tea 2k24 | The Boatslip, Provincetown (Part 1) Jul 16, 2024

Show notes

Please enjoy the first half of my tea dance set from the world-famous Boatslip in Provincetown over the 4th of July week 2024. This was the warm-up half, with peak tea coming soon in the form of Part 2. I am so grateful to DJ Maryalice for inviting me to play yet another year in what I truly consider a holy space for queer culture.
Much more music from this magical week to come...

House Is A Feeling (Vol. 14 | May 2k24) May 26, 2024

Show notes

It’s been a while since my last podcast, but I’m ready with a new one to kick off the summer. Vol. 14 is a two-hour journey that starts with nu-disco and then builds gradually to a full dance floor house music frenzy - it turns into a groove set in the middle before bringing it back around to some soulful sounds and finally ending with some more chill tech house to wrap up the journey.
There are a few new tracks from some of my favorite producers on here that I love so much and can’t wait to highlight in sets this summer, including Sam Divine’s “Saved By The Record,” Wh0’s “Sunglasses,” and Earth n Days’ “Stronger”... Illyus & Barrientos’ homage to Vicki Sue Robinson - “VSR” (sampling “House Of Joy”) - gives me chills it’s so good.
Take some downtime to listen and enjoy. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. And remember, always... that #HouseIsAFeeling

Aspen Gay Ski Week 2k24, Electric Cowboy @ Belly Up Aspen Jan 31, 2024

Show notes

Please enjoy nearly two hours of my headlining set from the Electric Cowboy party at the world-renowned Belly Up Aspen for Aspen Gay Ski Week 2k24. I had a blast playing the Thursday night main event this year, sponsored by my friends at VISIT DALLAS. It's always an honor DJing this weekend, which raises money for AspenOut, a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides support and services to the diverse LGBTQ+ population of the Roaring Fork Valley.
A major SHOUT OUT to DJ Jae Fusz for opening the night. I rounded up this posted section of my set with the Performance Edit of my new remix for Chappell Roan's "Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl," which is only available via DJ promo.
