Episode 59 | Songfacts Owner Carl Wiser Apr 18, 2020
    Show notes

This week's guest is the founder and owner of Songfacts.com, the website devoted to song information, including the history and meanings of the songs we all know and love.
Originally launched in 1999 as a resource for DJs, the site gained widespread recognition when Yahoo chose it as a pick in 2002. Songfacts also includes exclusive interviews with songwriters and musicians, a message board, music quizzes and a whole lot more.
What was planned as a discussion of all-things Songfacts, the interview transitioned into a couple of former Connecticut rock DJs hangin' out sharing radio stories and talking about our favorite classic rock artists and songs.
NOTE: In this episode you will hear Carl talk about his Songfacts interview with Bill Withers. Sadly, Withers passed shortly after this interview was recorded.

Author Greg Prato stops by the DISCovery podcast to talk about his recent book "Take It Off: Kiss Truly Unmasked". There are several books on KISS out there but none cover the non-makeup era of the band between 1986-1996 like this must-read book.
Greg talks all things KISS from the 80s and mid 90s while sharing some stories only told in his book. It was a Crazy, Crazy time for the band who had to scrap and claw their way back from near extinction by the end of the 70s and Greg takes us along for the ride.
