After both technical and production difficulties, DisasterCast is returning on a regular schedule. This episode discusses the Longford Gas Plant disaster that killed two people and cut gas supplies to Victoria for over two weeks. The episode has a particular focus on Andrew Hopkin’s book, “Lessons from Longford”, and discusses the limits of hindsight for drawing conclusions about how to create better foresight.
Thanks to Faith Valencia for facilitating access to the Nathan radio studio for more reliable and better audio production of DisasterCast.
