This is a podcast that looks at disability stories. it’s like sitting down with a really close friend to have real conversations about disability, sexuality and everything else about the disability experience that we don’t talk about; the things about being disabled we keep in the dark. This episode was powerful. I interviewed fellow podcaster and sex educator Chris Maxwell Rose of Pleasure Mechanics.com and The Speaking of Sex Podcast. She has recently been dealing with a new diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. We explore and uncover what this diagnosis of disability has meant for her journey into pleasure and pain. There are so many things she said that resonated for me, as a disabled queer man. This interview shines a bright light on disability in a whole new way, and left me with a lot to think about. I hope it does the same for you!

This episode is a fun interview with my friend and fellow disabled writer Carrie Wade. We sit down to chat with her about Kink, open letters to able-bodied partners, vulnerability and so much more, as she highlights why it is important for her to tell these stories. Episode 014 - Young, Queer & Crippled: A Throwback Episode to Andrew’s Teen Years Nov 04, 2016
    Show notes

This is a throwback episode for me where I share my stories as a young, teenaged queer cripple. I talk about wanting to fit in, wanting sex, and most of all wanting friendship as a young, disabled teen. Through these stories, I hope to provide insight for young cripples coming up in the world, as well as their parents, who may well want to understand how their child's experience in high school as a disabled youth feels.

Episode 013 - Devoted to You: DisabilityAfterDark Interviews A Devotee Oct 28, 2016
    Show notes

This episode was so awesome to tape. I talked to my friend Stacie who recently came out to me as a "devotee" (def: someone sexually attracted to disability). I was fascinated by this because as disabled people we have been taught that devotees are dangerous. I wanted to understand what her relationships as a devotee were like, and understand it more. She explains about her attraction, her relationships and subsequent marriage as a result of being a devotee.

I talk about getting ready to go to the club, what it feels like to be unable to enter the club due to inaccessibility, and what actually happens to you once your in 'da club. I suggest that we need both physical and emotional accessibility available in these spaces so that crips can club too.
