Andy Jenkins noticed a trend and took a bold effort to help the ladies get their men on board or to help the men support their ladies. He wrote a brilliant book called “The Husbands Field Guide: Navigating Your Wife’s Essential Oil Habit.” Face it, most YL distributors are women. That’s a proven statistical fact. When the woman brings the oils home for the first time their partner either: 1) Thinks they have lost their marbles and is urked she spent money on them. 2) Sits back and skeptically waits to see if these weird oils even work. OR 3) Can’t wait to embrace the oils in their lives. Unfortunately #3 doesn’t happen very often. What happens to most men is they have an “experience” where the oils saved their butt. For example: sore back after an over zealous basketball game, contracting the seasonal sniffles, or that creepy crud on their feet that nothing has been able to touch for years. Zenaida Lorenzo! Zenaida is passionate about psychological research. While most research is considered boring to read and hard to understand, she is committed to making scholarly research insightful, actionable, and applicable to our daily lives. She began her career twenty years ago in NYC as a marketing and sales executive. In 2004, she started her own business, which quickly generated millions of dollars in revenue. Because of her success, she was called upon to speak at conferences across the nation, and she found that participants would often ask to talk privately with her about their challenges, asking how they could experience success in their personal and business life. At first, Zenaida turned to books written by experts, but she quickly realized that the experts were contradicting one another. She also realized she didn’t have the necessary foundation to point those who wanted answers in the right direction. She decided to return to school and dedicate her time to understanding psychological research. Interested in why some people succeed while others don’t, she first studied what creates expert performance. She then studied leadership, motivation, learning, and goal-setting.
