Fashion Rules That Apply To Decor Aug 04, 2017

Show notes

Did you know that many rules of fashion also apply to decor? Surprisingly there is a huge crossover! Let's talk about some today.

Limited color palette works for fashion and it works in decor!

Patterns should work together.

You should wear the dress, the dress should not wear you! And your sofa should not overpower the room.

A little faux animal print looks chic and a little faux animal print in decor looks chic too!

What is your decor's "black dress"?

See Yvonne's post on Find your Decor's Little Black dress HERE
Juxtaposition in fashion looks trendy and updated and so it does in decor. Examples: high/low, refined/ rustic
We have a fun question for you... Does your home look like what you wear?
And the lady in the same black goodwill dress with the coppery hair just may be Kelly! YOU GO GIRL!
