Knowing what a fabulously expensive home decor piece looks like and what makes it expensive is the key to knowing what to look for in a lesser priced item. So make sure to do your homework!

Mix high priced, well-made furniture with lower price well-made items! Priceless look (pun intended- lol!)!

Know where you can get lower price furnishings like thrift shops, consignment shops, outlets, Amazon, Wayfair, One Kings Lane.

How's your curb appeal? The outside of our home tells all those who pass by a lot about you and the inside of your home! Let's make the outside of our home look as fabulous as you are! You can make a big difference in your home by doing just a few easy thing! Number one thing to do for great curb appeal is to keep it tidy and keep it simple!

Take a good critical look at your foundational plants around your home. Are they groomed? Are they overgrown? Taking care of the shrubs and plants around our homes makes a huge difference.

Don't forget to mulch. Use natural dark brown mulch.

We all love a front door that is painted a fabulous color. What color is your door!

Today we are talking about fresh ways to decorate that iconic piece of decor... a HUTCH! There are so many ways to update a hutch! We are so excited to share them with you!!!!!

Think about changing the way your hutch looks by painting it.

And make sure you paint the back of the hutch too. Or, paper it or add texture to it!

If you put dishes in your hutch, MIX IT UP! Be creative... YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Here are some ideas...
take everything out and edit, edit, edit
choose a color theme
use it as a decorative piece
stack dishes, and perch things on top of the stacks
add pitchers and bowls etc.
leave space in between your dishes
add something organic... greenery is nice
hang wreaths from the doors of your hutch
put your silverware in pitchers and add that to your hutch
add one or two pieces of silver
