Fiona is helping Rosemary with radio stuff, including the idea of having the governor debate some children. He reluctantly agrees.

Bill and eagle-eyed McGill go to question a guy named Sonny about the gold coins and the train robbery.
Elizabeth keeps having fantasies about Nathan as if he's a piece of meat.
The radio show happens, and Allie brings him the cold hard facts about the salmon problem.
There's a whole storyline about Joseph trying to get his daughter into a school without talking to Minnie first. They work through it.
Allie tells Oliver about the radio show, and he's impressed by her and her cupcakes.
Elizabeth is starting to feel better, and Fiona encourages her to publish her curriculum about project-based learning.
The episode ends with Nathan having a steamy dream about Elizabeth and waking up to the dog licking him.

The Wish Swap (Hallmark Channel - 2025) Feb 11, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH

The movie kicks off with Morgan Freeman narrating about birthday wishes. Cut to Casey, who shows up at Field & Plate for her birthday! As she's waiting for her friend, another family arrives for a birthday celebration, led by the birthday boy himself, Henry. Their tables are side by side, and they end up talking a bit. But then it’s cake time, and Henry’s family realizes they’ve forgotten the cake. Casey overhears this and suggests they blow out her candles together since they’re birthday twins.
Henry gets a call and goes to take it. He assumes it’s a spam call. He tells Casey, “Someone from Dance Your Heart Out just called me—whatever that is.” Casey is shocked: “Dance Your Heart Out?! I’ve always wanted to be on Dance Your Heart Out! Let me be your partner!” He’s not interested, but says, “You should take my spot.” She replies, “That’s not allowed! Please, do this with me!” He insists, “No.” She’s disappointed and walks out, talking to her friend from the Dead Letter Office. She says, “It’s really odd, because my birthday wish was to make it on the show!”
Things get stranger when she receives a call saying she’s inherited a farm. She starts to suspect there’s been a wish swap because inheriting a farm feels like something Henry would wish for. So, she goes to confront him. He admits, “Yeah, I wished for a farm, but a wish swap is ridiculous.” She suggests, “Well, let’s try something. I have one more piece of cake. Let’s do it again and maybe it’ll reverse the wish swap.” It doesn’t work. So, they strike a deal: he’ll work and earn money to get his own farm if he agrees to go with her and compete on Dance Your Heart Out.
From here, things follow a familiar path. They start hanging out—she’s doing farm work, he’s learning to dance. They do their first dance for the show and actually do well. They move on to the next round. For some reason, they get invited to perform at a stand-up club, and it happens.
There’s a document on her computer with her birthday wishes, but she tells him, “You can’t see it.” So, he opens it when she’s not around. Her wishes are:
    1. Dance, 2. Comedy, 3.Fall in love
When she opens her laptop and sees the document is open, she knows he’s looked at it, so she goes to give him a piece of her mind. But then he says, “I love you,” and that’s all it takes. Forgiven.
They compete in the finals and win. The movie ends with them dancing in the bed of a pickup truck, and they kiss.

    Holidazed - S01E03 - The Lin Family (Hallmark+ - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde Feb 10, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH

Ted and Marcus go into a literal closet to talk about what just happened with Grandma out there. The rest of the family quickly joins them to discuss. Marcus is like, "I don't understand why you’re all so afraid to tell her the truth. Grandma doesn't like change!" Marcus isn’t happy and leaves.
The next morning, Ted tells Marcus that he just needs more time and asks him to go along with it for just a little longer. Marcus reluctantly takes off his engagement ring.
Grandma controls everything, including when Marcus and Ella are going to get married. She demands that they have a photoshoot to announce their engagement, and it doesn’t go well, considering that they aren’t really in love. But Ted gives them a pep talk, and things start looking up—until Grandma drags them to her fortune teller. It turns out they're perfect for each other, which is almost worse for Ted. Then, it’s revealed that they tricked the fortune teller, and that fortune was actually meant for Marcus and Ted. That makes Ted feel better.
Things are beginning to look up until someone recognizes Ella from her social media. They’re a big fan of Ella and her takes on bucking tradition and marriage, so they're shocked to see that Ella is getting married and take a picture of her.
Grandma gives Marcus her ring to give to Ella and then tells Ted that she wants him to take over the business.
The engagement announcement goes out in the local papers, so they all spend the day going around and getting all the newspapers.
Marcus opens up to Ted about how he’s actually been having fun because it’s given him time to plan the wedding in a way he actually wants to do it, not just the way Ted wants. Ted apologizes and promises not to railroad his opinion, saying that their marriage will be one of compromise.
They’re about to kiss, but Grandma interrupts them and asks Marcus to come explain the food because Ted’s mom made all of Marcus’s favorite dishes.
Grandma actually loves the food and tells them that she loves change—it was her husband who didn’t like change. She brings up the fact that all of her friends can’t find a newspaper anywhere. Just then, the power goes out. Ted runs outside to find a lantern, and Marcus follows him. They end up kissing in the rain as Grandma watches from inside, clearly surprised.

The Way Home - S03E05 - Reeling in the Years (2025) ft. Ryan Pappolla Feb 06, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH

The episode kicks off in the 70s with Alice watching Colton perform. Kat shows up too and tells her about the jacket. Alice says she's confident there's an explanation. Colton plays a song that really surprises Kat. She asks hippie guy Jasper about it, and he says he taught it himself. It's an old folk song from the founding of the town. As she’s walking back to the pond, she sees Grandma sitting there. She goes to talk to her, and Grandma says that Colton isn’t special—she thought he was—but he’s a rule breaker.
In 2025, it’s Del’s birthday, and she doesn’t want anyone to do anything for it. So, the boys ignore her and plan a surprise party. Brady is in town for some reason, so that’s fun.
Back to the 70s, Alice is still hanging out with Evelyn. Evelyn suggests they use a Ouija board to contact Cassandra, someone who used to live in Evelyn’s room.
Kat makes it back to the present and finds the music book. She reads the lyrics, and it's clear that it was written by Thomas about them. So, she goes over and kisses Elliot, saying, “Our love is good enough to write a song about, right?”
So Evelyn, Alice, Colton, and Del are doing the Ouija board, and someone begins to communicate with them. It’s not Cassandra, but someone who says “fire,” “fast,” “blame,” and then the little planchette shoots toward Colton. He’s freaked out, and Del comforts him.
Kat and Elliot are making out when there’s a knock at the door. It’s Emma... Elliot’s ex-wife!
Evelyn and Alice are talking about what happened when Evelyn notices a hidden door. Inside is the painting of "MY Katherine." Evelyn says, "I recognize her," and Alice is like, “Uhhh, I gotta go.”
Sam and Del surprise Jacob with a certificate of resurrection. They probably had to wait in a really long line for that one.
Kat, Elliot, and Emma are all hanging out, and it’s awkward.
Alice is getting coffee with her dad when Noah walks in. She introduces him to her dad and calls him her boyfriend. Brady is unimpressed.
Kat dreams of making out with Thomas, so there’s that.
It’s time for the party, and Alice sings a song from the 1800s book. The song is freaking Kat and Jacob out, so they take the book and find out that in 1816, there was a year with no sun. People thought the world was ending. Kat and Jacob are convinced they need to go back and tell everyone that the world isn’t ending.
Alice talks to Del about Evelyn, and it doesn’t go well. Del tells her to stay out of her memories.
Noah goes to comfort Alice, and they end up kissing.
Brady and Jacob have a moment where Brady apologizes for distracting Kat the night he went missing, and Jacob is like, “I’ve never blamed you.”
Elliot tries to convince Kat not to go back to the 1800s, but she says, “Jacob wants to jump, and I can’t let him go alone.”
Alice is walking around when Max stops her and asks if she’s going to accuse him of having a sibling again. But he says Casey is a family name... Cassandra, actually. So that’s quite the coincidence.
Kat and Jacob jump in and come back to the 1800s. They can’t find anyone but end up at the church, where they see Susanna walking out with Cyrus Goodwin, and they’re married! Susanna and Kat lock eyes. Then we see that Thomas is also looking on from afar.

    When Calls the Heart - S12E05 - Mom's the Word (2025) ft. Jacklyn Collier Feb 05, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH

It's time for... PROJECT-BASED LEARNING!!! Judd finally tells Bill and Rosemary about the coin. He says he got it from a poker game in Union City. Judd is counting cards and didn't realize it. He says he got it from Toddy Davis.
Nathan is not pleased with Allie's interest in this Wyatt kid but doesn't know how to address it.
Lucas brings Rosemary his press release about the park. Rosemary is like, "I bet Lee would like to hear your thoughts on this... maybe not through a press release."
Rosemary and Bill talk to Nathan about Toddy, and they agree that someone should go undercover to talk to him. Nathan says he should go as a poker player. They aren’t sure he can handle it.
We see a random woman walking the streets when a car pulls up, driven by... FIONA! FIONA IS BACK!
This girl's name is Ava, and her story is very similar to Elizabeth's. She says she read Elizabeth’s book, and that’s what led her to come to Hope Valley.
Nathan hears about Ava and is immediately skeptical of the similarities in their stories.
Fiona tells Faith and Mai Sue that she isn’t planning on staying. She also thinks she’s going to say yes to this guy who keeps proposing. She feels it's time for a change so she can do more good and make a bigger impact.
Elizabeth walks into the saloon and sees him laying it on thick with Ava. This concerns her. She thinks this guy is going to break her heart.
A couple of the guys trick Lucas and Lee into meeting to talk through their differences.
Elizabeth tries to talk to Allie about Wyatt, but it doesn’t go well.
Lee and Lucas make up, and that's nice.
Nathan goes undercover and successfully gets Toddy to trust him.
Allie asks Wyatt if he would go on a picnic with her. He tells her that she’s nice, but she’s just not his type. She’s very sad. She talks to Elizabeth about it, and it’s a real heart-to-heart.

An Unexpected Valentine (Hallmark Channel - 2025) Feb 04, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH

It’s Valentine’s Day in the big city, and everyone is in love... everyone except for Hannah. But Hannah is surrounded by Valentine’s Day cheer because she works for Alouette Chocolate. She claims she’s not over Valentine’s Day, but we all know the truth.
We then meet Finn, an artist who also works as an Uber driver. Hannah ends up getting into his car and has to sit in the front because she’s feeling sick. While riding, Hannah finds an engagement ring on the floorboards! Whose ring is it?! Finn suggests he’ll just bring it to his boss—someone will get it back eventually. But Hannah insists that won’t do! "They probably need it for tonight—it’s Valentine’s Day!" she says. So, Finn reluctantly agrees to help track down the ring’s owner, but they have to make some stops along the way, including picking up a massive bouquet of roses.
They first go to a cooking class to track down a couple, but there’s no luck. Then they head to a club to find a single woman, but still no luck. Finn keeps getting calls from his business partner, reminding him that he’s supposed to be at an event for his latest photo exhibit. But who cares? Because the sparks are flying! They dance together to Love Shack in the club—by now, they’re basically married.
This night has everything: police escorts for no reason, a bakery food truck, and a silly wire in Finn’s car that keeps getting loose. He remembers his night started when a guy got into the wrong car for no reason. He also remembers the guy was supposed to be going to a restaurant, so they rush over there, climb the stairs (because the elevator is broken), and find him just in time! The guy proposes, she says yes, and fireworks start going off outside!
Well, they did it. So, now what? Both of them have work events to get to, so... I guess that’s that.
But it’s not. They can’t stop thinking about each other. As Hannah goes to leave, Finn is waiting outside, and he shoots his shot—they kiss!

    Holidazed - S01E02 - The Hill Family (Hallmark+ - 2024) ft. Alonso Duralde Feb 03, 2025
    Show notes

    Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH
Josh is talking to his girlfriend, Stacy, complaining about the community service situation and talking about Nora. Stacy asks, "You call your local sheriff by her first name? Weird."
So, Josh makes it to community service a little late and starts complaining about Nora to this woman, but she's not having it. Everyone loves Nora. Nora's son, Theo, is there, recognizes him, and asks him to help with a project. They're in need of some art supplies, so Nora reluctantly agrees to give him a ride, and they clash constantly.
After trying to help Theo make the perfect ornament, Theo invites Josh over to their house. He reads Theo a bedtime story and then discovers that apparently, he doesn't know how to hug. So, after Theo goes to sleep, Nora helps Josh learn how to hug.
The next day, they work on the ornament but need inspiration, so they head to the Christmas carnival. They're having a blast until Stacy shows up unexpectedly.
Theo is hurt when he finds out that Josh is going to Sydney, and Nora tells him that Josh is good on his community service.
Josh and Sarah go to spend Christmas with his parents, and he gifts them a place at a retirement home. They are clearly offended by this.
Josh feels discouraged and goes for a walk, struck by inspiration. He runs back to give Theo an ornament that is perfect for what he was hoping for. Nora is shocked to see Josh again, but when she sees the ornament, she can't say no. They bring the ornament to the contest, and it wins!
Sarah shows up and says, "You said you were just dropping off an ornament," implying you'd be back. Fair enough.
She watches as he hugs Theo and shares a moment with Nora.
When they return to his parents' place, Sarah tells him that she can tell something has changed. She says she's going to Sydney tomorrow because it's what she wants, and it's up to him if he comes too. Before he can respond, lightning strikes, and the power goes out.
