SPiTE; An Underrated Fuel $ource - Part 1 May 30, 2023

Show notes

Season 1 of this podcast was all about comfort! Davi The ScapeGOAT was surrounded by comfort humans - but now it's time to get uncomfy! Davi is surrounding herself with Girl Bosses in all different stages of metamorphosis. Women that inspire us to step outside of our comfort zone fiercely & often! Davi introduces us to founder of @YourSocialTeam, Manu Muraro. Manu is using her Instagram coaching and social media template business to teach us how to put our mental wellness ahead of the social media likes.

Manu is a superhero/mommy to two beautiful girls, hustler of helping businesses and brands succeed, a fighter of cancer, and still finds time to be a gratitude expert. Limping out of the boss's office with a bone fracture when company layoffs literally tried to break her - but still able to find the beauty in the experience! First, the ladies give thanks to Gen Z for changing the landscape with their "no nonsense" vibes at work. They'll discuss having boundaries with your business, pausing your climb to rest and reevaluate, unfollowing the content that makes you feel crappy, and those behaviors that show a "severe lack of crocheting". We debate the terms like getting "let go" or "laid off" or "fired" and why some seem sexier than others. And Manu tells us all about starting a business purely out of spite and how "Pettiness will take you Places."

How To Be An Anonymous Ally in the Workplace May 09, 2023

Show notes

ScapeGOAT H.R. Representative Thomas Ryan Lawrence from GBA Equality Foundation is back with Davi to answer listener's emails. Looking for some tips on how to deal with your workplace dynamic? They can help!

Today we hear from Matthew, who needs advice on how to be a good ally when eavesdropping on microaggressions in the office. As we've learned, sometimes being the loud, proud, outspoken advocate for change at work can backfire quickly. Maybe your boss will see you as "too sensitive" or "challenging". Maybe the victim doesn't want your help. Unfortunately, sometimes your allyship has to quietly lurk in the shadows. Thomas & Davi will teach us how to creep by the watercooler, see something - say something, and start stockpiling all those incriminating emails!

It's time to :BCC, baby!

Assistant to the Regional Button Manager Apr 25, 2023

Show notes

Davi The ScapeGOAT is back at iHeart Studios with Atlanta morning radio show Moote, Kimmie, & Otis. They're here to share all their getting fired from radio experiences - which are full of commonalities! Like plenty of humbling moments while wearing embarrassing outfits and getting dropped for the boss's buddies. Does your industry make up titles? Are hugs a sign of weakness or an aggressive power move? They take a trip down memory lane to Moote & Davi's time on Trinity Lane in 2017. And special delivery for the true Lil' Crimmlins Listeners; let's FiNALLY dissect that time Moote allegedly called Davi an "asshole". Too bad these two can't give a lesson in conflict resolution and communication to their old coworkers that desperately need it!

We learn that Kimmie got fired after finding audio of a hostile coworker. Does that sound familiar?? She joins Davi's not-so-small club of women burned by the unhealthy egos masquerading as "good guys" of radio. Ladies entering this industry, be warned! Save your folder of audio evidence!

Now that begs the question; Does Kimmie have a folder on her current cohosts, Moote and Otis? There's plenty of clips from this episode to add! Guess who misses the 'good old days' of radio messing with "the broads"?

"#CancelMoote - let's get it going!!!" - Brian Moote

Blair Crimmins is a man that wears many hats. Good thing he looks damn good in hats! He's back on Davi The ScapeGOAT to prove that musicians have held the most random jobs and no matter the industry - toxic behaviors and unhealthy egos can strike anytime, anywhere!

We've ALL experienced it - the "last straw". When you've had all you can stands and you can't stands no more! But ... did you get to tell your boss "you're an idiot"? Blair tells us the catalyst for his infamous resignation letter to a mean mean man, the song of revenge that ensued, and how sometimes an ending inspires a fulfilling new beginning!
