Show notes

Welcome to Episode 3 of the Date Night with Jake & Page podcast! Each month we'll be bringing you a new episode where we double-date over mics and drinks with prominent Queen City couples. In this episode you hear from Montell and Emily "Breeze" Watson, and maaaaaaan, you're in for a treat! We thought we knew these guys prior to the episode, but five minutes in we realized WE HAD NO CLUE. Montell and Breeze talk about what it's like to build the latter's fitness brand both in person around Charlotte and on social media, all while juggling being new parents. Oh, and they were set to move to a new house only a couple of weeks after taping. As always, #babysittersforthewin. They talk about their favorite restaurants, hangout spots in the QC and much more. Oh, and Catch Phrase gets INTENSE. Once again, big thanks to Garrett Tichy, Hygge and Richard Brooke for having us as a member of their inaugural Hygge Podcast Residency! Welcome to Episode 2 of the Date Night with Jake & Page podcast! Once again, big thanks to Garrett Tichy, Hygge and Richard Brooke for having us as a member of their inaugural Hygge Podcast Residency...and especially this time around for their help in editing this episode. Yes, the audio in this one is tough at times, gang. Hang with us as we continue to learn this podcasting game. We'll be better in future episodes! As a reminder, each month we'll be bringing you a new episode where we double-date over mics and drinks with prominent Queen City couples. In this episode we bring you Christa and Muhsin Muhammad, and OMG were they amazing. We had so much fun talking football, kids, life, adoption and so much more. We also may or may not have beatboxed/freestyled more than once. Muhsin, or MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE as you may remember him from his days as a top-flight WR for the Carolina Panthers, and Christa are #relationshipgoals. High school sweethearts from Michigan, Moose and Christa have been married for more than 20 years, and they genuinely seem to have a ton of fun together...which becomes abundantly clear right from the start of the episode.
