Are you ready for one of Oklahoma's most talked about cases among conspiracy theorists? Then strap in for this two-parter! In a Tiff-Tastic episode, the cousins dive into the Karen Silkwood story. There are so many bumps and twists and turns in this case! Watch out! Karen Silkwood was thought to be on the brink of whistleblowing the Kerr-McGee Corporation on unsafe and lax health, safety, and security measures at its Cimarron Facility in Crescent, OK. On her way to deliver her evidence to both the federal union officials and a New York Times reporter, Karen mysteriously crashes her car into a culvert...and dies...and all her evidence just...disappears... Ride along as the cousin talk facts and theory in this strange, but true story!

This week, Jess and Tiff look at two iconic Oklahoma destinations; the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa and the Stone Lion Inn in Guthrie. Both are landmark destinations in any tour of this great state! But are they haunted? Do spooks run amuck? Do pictures' eyes follow you OR fall of the wall at the mention of names? When lights flicker, you know the kooky and spooky are about to come out! And your favorite cousins are here for it!
To plan your trip to Philbrook, checkout their website!

We pick up where we left off last week with Jess's dark history about Cattle Annie and Little Britches (not the Disney one, as Tiff points out). So saddle up and get ready for a tale that once again paints a much tamer picture than history would like us to believe!
10! We've made it to 10 episodes! What starts out as a 1 parter, turns into a 2 parter! Jess and Tiff revisit famous Oklahoma Outlaws again...this time, Tiff dives in after the OG Machine Gun Kelly...George "Machine Gun" Kelly that is! He's infamous for the 1933 kidnapping of oil millionaire Charles F. Urschel from his home in the prestigious Heritage Hills neighborhood (knock, knock, Mrs. Overholser? Can we borrow some sugar, neighbor?). Enjoy another myth-buster type ride, where we once again, discover, the "reputation" of the gangster may be more myth and legend than the actual truth. Keep it Kooky and Spooky!

As Oklahomans, we are no stranger to tornadoes. Let's just say it's in our blood. And the aftermath of any tornado is tragic and heartbreaking. To lose a child is unimaginable. Yet, in 1947, that exact thing happened. But...not in the way that one might expect. Following the F5 tornado that hit the town of Woodward, Joan Gay Croft's family was devastated when this beloved 4 year old VANISHED without a trace. Ride along in this Jess-erific episode, where to this day, you are left with more questions than answers. What are your theories to what happened that night, after a terrible twister changed the course of history?

Tiff dives into the history of the Spook Light (known by many names around these parts...but we'll keep is simple). These are three places you will want to visit at the end of this episode. Keep it Spooky and Kooky!
This week, your Curious Cousins from Oklahoma dive into some dark and kooky history from our home state! Jess exposes Tiff to a story she had never heard about before; the Aerlex Fireworks Disaster. This tragedy is not widely known or discussed...it's time to share the terrible tale! Tiff explains (and puts to rest some myths) the twists and turns regarding the 20 year long battle over who would be the OK State Capital...Guthrie or Oklahoma City?
What a doozy for our first True Crime episode! It's TIFFerific or TIFFtastic (which sounds better?)! Tiff dives into the life and crimes of Roger Dale Stafford and the Sirloin Stockade Murders. This guy, his wife, and probably his brother, were pure EVIL. This episode isn't for the faint of heart! Just be warned...listener discretion is advised for our younger listeners. The book Tiff constantly references is Oklahoma's Most Notorious Cases by Kent Frates. Get you a copy here! Don't forget to like and follow us!
