Donate or not? Diet or dessert? Yardwork or Netflix? Sometimes we get it right. Sometimes we get it wrong. All this non-stop decision making can feel like we’re living in a constant state of flux that easily turns to chaos. But…if we could pre-decide a few key choices that determined how we’ll handle the smaller “everyday” choices, we’d reduce the chaos and have a better chance of our choices lining up with our values. This series will help us pre-decide Jesus-centric choices so that nothing derails us from the choices God wants us to make as we live into the life he calls us to live.

There are two places in the Bible where God describes his love for you and puts the word “so” in front of it. Why? He wants you to know this heightened sense with which He loves you...that doesn’t just love you, but that he SO LOVES YOU! Entrances Matter | 4.10.22 Apr 10, 2022

Join us live as we celebrate Palm Sunday together.

We offer two Sunday morning services: one outside at 9am and one inside at 10:30am. Our indoor service will have all the things you love about pre-pandemic CrossWinds services, including creative elements, worship with the band, and a message. Our outdoor service, Traditions in the Grove, will be a traditional service with trimmed-down acoustic worship, Bible readings, and the message. We are thrilled to be able to offer both of these options, freeing you up to choose whichever service style you prefer. Our Kids Ministry will only be offered during the 10:30 service, with kids in the classrooms experiencing church just for them.

We tend to take what someone says at face value. What they say is what they mean, right? We even do this with the words of Jesus. When he said, “Love your neighbor”, he must mean to love the guy next door. When he said, “Today, you will be with me in paradise,” he must have meant this actual day we’ll meet in Hawaii or Barbados. But in truth, we often misinterpret Jesus’ teaching because we don’t understand his ancient Jewish culture. While Jesus’ listeners easily understood his references, much of the underlying meanings can get lost in translation for us. In this series, we’ll teach you five cultural understandings that will unlock Jesus’ teaching, and help you find the answer to a question you’re having, the solution for a conflict you’re in, or some guidance in whatever challenge you’re facing.
