    Ep 925 - It Was A Good Week Jan 23, 2023
    Show notes

Indiana bounced back in a big way last week, collecting three wins and evening up their conference record at 4-4. As the team heads into a fascinating five-game stretch, Scott and DoctorGC evalaute where they're at now, what the last three games indicated, and why there are still lingering trust issues with the team --- but also why the way the team is playing now completely changes the potential script for the rest of the season.

    Ep 924 - Resetting Expectations Again? Jan 18, 2023
    Show notes

Scott and DoctorGC talk IU men's hoops after the Hoosiers' big win over Wisconsin this past weekend. Are the effort issues solved, or was this just a momentary regression to the mean? How does the schedule look moving forward for IU, and what do they need to do to get back into contention for a top-4 spot in the league? We tackle those questions, riff a bit on the issues with Big Ten officiating, and then talk about the football team's surprise pickup of four star QB Tayven Jackson.

Ep 923 - The CrimsonCast Women's Basketball Show with Amanda Foster Jan 17, 2023

Ep 921 - The CrimsonCast Women's Basketball Show with Amanda Foster Jan 11, 2023
    Show notes

    Ep 920 - Uh Oh Jan 10, 2023
    Show notes

Scott and DoctorGC ruminate on the Northwestern game and ponder whether IU's season is the subject of an enveloping crisis. Is it time to panic after a five-week stretch where the Hoosiers have barely looked functional and engaged, or is the team simply injury-riddled but otherwise fine? Is the team merely suffering from a momentary lull or are there deeper concerns at play? Are these the baseless ravings of overreactionary schmucks or concerned analysis from trained observers who've seen this movie too many times before?

Ep 919 - Basketball Blues and Football Transfers Jan 07, 2023
    Show notes

Scott and Galen resume podcasting in 2023 and welcome Taylor Lehman of Bite Sized Bison to the show. We talk about the IU men's basketball loss to Iowa, the struggles IU is undergoing on both sides of the ball, and the malaise the squad has appeared to be in since the start of December. We also chat about what IU has to do to get back to respectability in the face of a difficult upcoming schedule.
We also discuss IU football's latest transfer portal spree, as Taylor gives us his analysis of incoming players in the defensive backfield and at WR. We talk about whether or not these players will make a big difference for the Hoosiers, and discuss what the plan might be at quarterback.

    Ep 918 - Catching up with Nicole Cardano-Hillary Jan 07, 2023
    Show notes

Amanda Foster and DoctorGC welcome former IU basketball star Nicole Cardano-Hillary to the podcast. We chat with Nicole about her transition to playing professionally in Spain and how her experience has been thus far with IDK Euskotren. She also talks about her two years in Bloomington, her experiences as a starter with the women's team, and what she's seen out of this year's Hoosiers sqaud.

    Ep 917 - Capping off 2022 Dec 30, 2022
    Show notes

Scott and DoctorGC engage in some IU-related banter as the year comes to a close. We discuss our current feelings on IU men's basketball as their two week hiatus continues --- focusing on the loss of Xavier Johnson and what its impacts will be, TJD's mysterious physical ailments, and trying to reconcile IU's current record with its offensive play. We also touch on IU football's search for a 2023 starting QB in the transfer portal.
Happy New Year to you all from the CrimsonCast family. Thanks for listening!
