Hello everyone and welcome back to Microcast Monday. Short bursts of inspiration and motivation to get you started on the right track for the week. If you love the show please share this episode with your family and friends and give us that 5-Star Rating and Review on Apple Podcasts.

There are a lot of programs popping up now that tout first responder wellness and health. I am not saying they are bad, I am saying there is only one FHE Health and Shatterproof for First Responders. FHE Health has been in the wellness business for over 20 years. We are the best. If you are suffering please reach out to me today so I can help you on your journey of wellness and recovery. 303-960-9819 or 844-650-1399.

You were born to create. It is that simple. Everything you see right now. Right at this moment was created by someone who had a thought. That is the power of thought and you have that power inside of you. If you think bad thoughts guess what? You create more bad thoughts. The opposite holds true with good thoughts. So many people believe they are stuck in their currently reality. When you change your reality and you change your thoughts you start to create the life you want.

You are the power. You always have been and you always will be.

Go out and conquer your day and week. Stay tuned for more great episodes on the CJEvolution Podcast.

There are so many dedicated professionals who treat and help our brave men and women who serve. One happens to be on the show today - Dr. Sachi Ananda, Ph.D., LMHC, MCAP is responsible for providing clinical direction to FHE Health's specialized treatment program for first responders. Her #1 goal in her job is to help first responders return as soon as possible to their roles as public servants in their communities and families.

Dr. Ananda is a licensed mental health counselor, certified master’s-level addiction professional, and clinical sexologist. Her professional expertise and personal background groomed her for working with and relating to first responders and understanding their unique treatment needs. She specializes in trauma work, relationship therapy, and drug and process addictions recovery.

Growing up in a military family with a father in the Navy and a brother in the U.S. Marines, Dr. Ananda saw firsthand the impact that PTSD can have on the health and wellbeing of members of the military and first responders. She is trained in EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention, sex therapy, and family interventions— among other innovative therapeutic strategies that have proven effective for first responders. Dr. Ananda is originally from Vietnam. Her family came to the U.S. as refugees when she was a young child. They settled in the Pacific Northwest, which is where Dr. Ananda lived and worked for many years before eventually calling Florida “home.”

A great show with an amazing member of the FHE Health Family.

We all want pretty much the same thing. To be happy. Now that looks different among people, but happiness is happiness. The first step is to accept the reality you are in. There is no growth in living in the past. Sure your past is a part of you, but YOU ARE NOT DEFINED BY YOUR PAST. The future you have always wanted awaits you. Live in the moment. Accept where you are right now and take steps to improve your life. Stop blaming others for where you are at right now. Take responsibility and if you need help remember you are not alone. You are never alone.

Kurt Dabb is a retired law enforcement professional with over two decades of experience. In 2021 Kurt was forced into a medical retirement and was told he was no longer qualified to be a cop anymore. Kurt suffered from PTSD and Addiction Challenges. Like most of us who face challenges, Kurt was devastated. Kurt went through dark times, but eventually came out after receiving treatment for his challenges. The key to this is that Kurt came forward. Something most of us are unwilling to do.

Kurt is still trying to figure it out but he knows he is not alone and his recovery is paramount in his life.

Kurt is a big advocate of first responder health and wellness and alternate forms of therapy. A great discussion with survivor.

A big shout out and thank you to all those, Yes YOU, who serve in the Criminal Justice Field. It is a very difficult environment but you go out everyday and give it your all. Thank you for what you do. Remember you are honored, cherished and loved. Please be safe.

It's not often I get to interview a current law enforcement professional and I was very excited to have Jason Louis on the show. Jason is an active-duty police sergeant with over 23 years of experience in a variety of assignments including custody, patrol, investigations and training. Prior to returning to patrol he was assigned as the In-Service Training Supervisor for his agency's regional training center and he is a sitting member of his agency's use of force review board. Feeling the need to continue to arm law enforcement professionals with the best training possible, Jason created The Briefing Room. "If your agency is only meeting State minimum training standards, that’s a recipe for mediocrity. Join The Briefing Room and provide your supervisors with everything they need to develop exemplary officers who feel passion for their profession again. Your officers will know what society expects of them and how they can best represent your agency and serve your community." Jason Louis

A great discussion with a dedicated professional

Raise your internal thermostat. Raise it to 100 degrees. I am not talking about body temp I am talking about mind temp. When you raise that temp your life will begin to change for the better. In fact you won't want to spend too much time with people with a low mind temp. They are not bad people they just wont be on the same frequency and body temp as you. You are destined for great things. You can change your life. Nothing is set in stone. However, it starts with raising your mind temp. You can do it. You are unique. You are loved.
