Brian Kohberger's attorney the accused quadruple murder suspect has an alibi, but it will not be revealed before the trial.
In court documents, his attorneys say there is evidence he was somewhere else at the time of the November 2022 crime, and all the information will come out as state witnesses are cross-examined, as well as the defense expert witnesses.
The attorneys have also cast suspicion that the DNA links Kohberger to the crime was planted, to build a "rigged case. The defense team has also attacked the DNA evidence, and the tools used to match it to Kohberger.

Carlee Russell calls 911, telling the operator that she sees a toddler walking down the side of an Alabama freeway.
When police arrive, there's no toddler and Russell is gone. Her car, however, is still parked along the highway. The door is open and the car is running. Forty-nine hours later, Russell returns home, telling investigators in a brief interview that she was abducted by a man with orange hair and a woman.
As the investigation continued, police find some “really strange” internet searches in the hours before she vanished, such as the cutoff age for an AMBER Alert.
Now Russell admits via a statement from her lawyer that there was no toddler or abduction.

As police continue their investigation of Rex Heuermann's home, reportedly a soundproof room has been found in the 59-year-old suspect’s Massapequa Park basement.
A neighbor told the New York Post that cops told him. There is speculation that one of the victims could have been killed in the soundproof room. However police now say there is no soundproof room.
Little information has been revealed about the inside of the home, but we know a few of the items that have been removed: a doll in a glass case, and what's being described as torture porn.
Investigators are excavating the suspect yard as well as using ground-penetrating radar and cadaver dogs.

On a big game trip to Zambia, Bianca Rudolph is killed by a gunshot to the chest. It's ruled an accident, Or was it suicide? That's something that husband, Dr. Lawrence Rudolph says was a possibility. US investigators however, say Rudolph killed his wife in order to collect on her life insurance. Dentist Lawrence Rudolph charged with foreign murder and mail fraud. Rudolph reportedly told authorities that he believed his wife’s gun was accidentally discharged while she was putting it in a case. Lawrence Rudolph reportedly made claims on his wife’s life insurance policy totaling nearly $5 million. The policy was initially purchased in 1987 but was updated in 2016, the same year Bianca died.
As the investigation progresses it's revealed the Rudolph has been having 20-year affair, and his mistress has issued an ultimatum.

As police continue to gather evidence to prove that New York architect Rex Heuermann is the Long Island Serial Killer, his wife has filed for divorce.
Heuermann’s wife, 59-year-old Asa Ellerup, is being represented by attorney Robert Macedonio. The papers were filed in Suffolk County Supreme Court.
Heuermann, 59, was arrested last week and charged with three of the four so-called Gilgo 4 murders — four women who were found dead on Gilgo Beach in December 2010, all wrapped in burlap sacks.
Investigators have said that Ellerup was out of the country or out of the state when the victims were killed.
