IDAHO STUDENTS SLAY: SICK GHOULS EYE DEMOLISHED HOUSE FOR "SOUVENIRS?" Jan 10, 2024
    Show notes

As Bryan Kohberger’s defense team tries again to get a judge to toss out the indictment against Kohberger, the home where the four murders took place is now gone.

The clapboard house located at 1122 King Road, Moscow has been torn down, with the entire front of the building razed from sight in roughly 15 minutes. According to school officials, demolition was set for during the school's winter break, when fewer students would be in the area. It took just 90 minutes in total, for the home to become a pile of rubble.

The debris, loaded up by two contractors, was taken to a secret area for disposal. The site was combed for not a single item to be left behind for the curious to find and keep as a macabre souvenir. One local who wished to remain anonymous said 'They want nothing left for ghouls to plunder.'

Some, however, are still concerned that the best evidence in this case is now gone. The home was scanned using 3D imaging to allow the jury to be brought into the home and take a virtual tour where they wouldn't have been able to go.

The families of the four students killed in the house on King Road were not in agreement on the demolition. The Goncalves and Kernodle families issued a statement before the demolition, asking the university to wait to tear the building down until Kohberger's trial is completed.

The Goncalves' family said through their attorney, that the house “has evidentiary and emotional value."

In the statement, Goncalves wrote, "The family has stressed tirelessly to the Prosecution and the University of Idaho the importance (evidentiary and emotionally) that the King Road house carries but nobody seems to care enough."

She adds that the “families' opinion isn't a priority.”

The family of Ethan Chapin, who did not live there, offered its support for the demolition. In their statement, the Chapins said the demolition was needed "for the good of the University, its students (including our own kids), and the community of Moscow."

Pregnant Woman Raped, HELD 5 YEARS IN PADLOCK GARAGE Jan 09, 2024
    Show notes

A woman calls police saying that she has been held prisoner for five years, by a man who offered to help her at a time when she was panhandling.

Police first made contact with her in April of 2023. Using the texting app TextNow, she called 911. According to KPRC, police rescued the woman from the garage. Reportedly, the approximately 30-year-old victim weighed about 70 pounds and according to officers, looked extremely malnourished and filthy. She stated she had not showered in two months. I

Investigators went inside the garage and found a broken toilet, a dirty mattress covered in fresh vomit, a box of chips, a few Twinkies, clothes, and diapers. The woman told police there was no shower in the garage, so she would be taken inside the home from time to time. Police took the woman to the hospital for treatment, but reports say the man showed up and took her back to his home.

The suspect has been identified as Lee Carter, a Houston rapper known as "The Viper." His 2008 song, “You’ll Cowards Don’t Even Smoke Crack,” garnered over 4 million views on YouTube. Reportedly he is also a real estate broker.

According to corporate records and the Texas Real Estate Commission, he owns and operates a moving company in Houston. That company is registered to the address where he allegedly held the woman. Fox News reports a warrant was filed against Carter in April, but his arrest at a local motel did not happen until the last few days.

Carter, 52, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping. Officials have not given a reason for the nine-month gap between the April incident and the arrest. It is unknown what happened with the victim's pregnancy while she was held captive.

DID GEORGE AND CINDY ANTHONY LIE? Jan 08, 2024
    Show notes

June 16, 2008: the last day 2-year-old Caylee Anthony is seen alive.

One month later, her grandmother Cindy Anthony franticly calls 911 to report her granddaughter is missing. Casey Anthony claims that a babysitter kidnapped her daughter. By October, when nothing Casey tells police turns out to be true, she is arrested and charged with Caylee's death, even though Caylee is still missing.

On December 11, Caylee's remains are found in a garbage bag, dumped in a wooded area near the Anthony home. Eight days later, Caylee's death is ruled a homicide. Prosecutors announce they will seek the death penalty against her.

At Casey Anthony's trial, her lawyer first made claims that George Anthony was molesting his daughter and that he staged Caylee's death to look like a drowning to cover up that he may have been abusing his granddaughter as well.

Those claims, made again after Casey Anthony is acquitted of the death, have haunted the Anthonys for years.

Now, George and Cindy Anthony agree to take a lie detector test in front of cameras for the A&E network special "Casey Anthony's Parents: The Lie Detector Test."

What happened when he is asked if he had anything to do with Caylee's death?

Gypsy Rose Blanchard: Free Jan 06, 2024
    Show notes

More than two years shy of her 10-year sentence, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is free.

Blanchard was convicted of second-degree murder after she admitted to having her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, kill her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Now she is out from behind bars at the Chillicothe Correctional Center.

Dee Dee Blanchard is believed to have suffered from Munchausen by proxy — which caused forcing her daughter to use a wheelchair and subjecting her to unnecessary medical treatments, all to foster attention to Dee Dee herself. Before the murder, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s mother allegedly isolated her and tied her to a bed to stop her from escaping.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is now married and picked up from prison by her husband. Her book, “Released: Conversations on the Eve of Freedom," is expected to come out on January 9.

CHRISTMAS MURDER-BY-FREEZER? Relatives Arrive For Holiday, Find DEAD WOMAN IN FREEZER Jan 05, 2024
    Show notes

Around 11:45 a.m., two days before Christmas, a 911 call is made to the San Diego Police Department.

Out-of-town visitors find a badly decomposed body inside a chest freezer. The case is turned over to the homicide unit. San Diego police say due to the frozen condition of the body, the only thing they can confirm is that the corpse is female.

During our broadcast, it's announced that the body has been identified as Mary Margaret Haxby-Jones. She would have been 81 years old at the time her remains were found. It's believed that she lived at the home at some point. She may have been missing or dead for up to nine years.

SDPD says no missing report was ever filed for her. Police say the out-of-town visitors were not related to Haxby-Jones. Instead, they are related to someone currently living at the residence. The Medical Examiner's Office is working to determine the cause of death.

And again, the body did not have any obvious traumatic injuries.
