This week, we take a look at a man who came on to the boxing scene, literally out of nowhere. He seemingly had no past, but he certainly had a future in fighting. He made it all the way to the national stage before questions arose. Questions like "who is this guy?" cause his secret to be exposed, and his world to crumble. Just when you maybe start to feel bad for him, you find out something even more sinister!!

This week, we once again look at the question of just how young is too young to force your child to be a bread winning, family supporting professional athlete. I think we can now safely say that 13 might be the answer. She burst on to the international tennis scene as a 7th grader, and quickly took the world by storm. She also began to hate her forced profession, and all that surrounded it, leading to years of problems & resentment. After a major career comeback, an injury forces her into a weird, dark place called "retirement", and a whole new round of problems!!

Come out of the womb holding a tennis racquet, be a world famous hero by age 13, then go mainly downhill from there with Jennifer Capriati!!

This week, we crawl into the life of a man who had plenty of promise. He was a state wrestling champion, and even earned a college scholarship. But it all fell apart. He tried his hand in some MMA competition, but ultimately washed out of the sport, much like college, and the Marines. What's left for a guy like that? Enforcer for a drug kingpin, of course. But when he thinks he's not being compensated like he should for his work, a plan is hatched... This plan results in some of the most graphic violence possible. This is wild one!!

Be deemed too lazy for college, be deemed too crazy for the Marines, and settle your scores with a horrifically violent assault that leaves multiple people dead with David Tyner!!

This week, we look at a man who was revered in his home country, and was one of his sport's more popular players. He played for decades, before retiring to a quiet life as a paprika farmer, in the countryside. This all sounds wonderful, except for the fact that he also crushes the back roads, looking for women to pay for all sorts of non sports related activities! The trial, the appeals.. it's a mess! Does he end up getting away with his reprehensible crime?? Find out! Also, we have no luck with the nuances of cricket, so we must make up a game of our own, based loosely on our idea of what cricket may be!

This week, we concentrate on the question "what could have been?" with one of the biggest wastes of talent that professional sports has ever produced. He had the potential to be in the Hall of Fame, but he had other priorities. Mainly, using copious amounts of cocaine, and ruining every chance that he was repeatedly given. He disappointed everyone, including himself, but finally seemed to find a better way in life... until he decided to screw that up, and commit some federal crime. He's a mess!!

What follows is a sad tale of drugs, arrests, more drugs, and being found naked in a place he doesn't belong, even if he had clothes on. It's a crazy adventure, the entire way. What a weird one!!

This week, we journey down a path that has surprises at every turn. As a young man, sports was all he was consumed by, never even understanding why people would ever want to do drugs. A major league baseball career later, cocaine was all he was consumed by. He lived on the streets, panhandled, ignored his family, and most of all, smoked a whole lot of crack. Prison, deaths, embarrassment, nothing seemed to stop his desire to destroy his life. Good thing for us, it's as hilarious as it is sad!!

Fight your way from nowhere to the World Series, smoke more crack than you thought to be humanly possible, and panhandle by lying to people & telling them that your daughter died with Sammy "The Throwin' Swannanoan" Stewart!!

To the point where teams sign him, the same week he's been arrested! And what has he been arrested for? Well... Armed robbery, assault, mischief, money laundering, drunk driving, sexual assault... That's some of them. There is simply too much to list. Let's just say that this one is way more crime than sports!!

This week, we travel down a rocky road of crazy adventures, and a spiral that leads to gas station drug busts, being removed from planes by Federal Marshalls & public meltdowns. He was a star during the boom period of wrestling, in the 1980's, and lived a fast paced, wild life. In the end, his downfall happened gradually, as the money dried up, but the addictions grew stronger, causing some embarrassing scenes for all concerned. It's a fun, but sad tale, but we promise one thing, it's never boring!
