This week, we look at man who came from nothing, and achieved his dream of being a major leaguer. Not only that, he was an all star, and World Series Champion... But that all unraveled, and it ended up with some nasty charges involving a machete, some gasoline, a little paint thinner & a lighter. These charges would land him in Venezuelan prison with his good name ruined. He also indiscriminately fires hand guns from car windows & is not above a bar brawl. Did we mention that his mother was kidnapped & sold to a Columbian revolutionary gang & held for millions in ransom? Or that the rescue attempt was straight from an 80's action movie, complete with M-16s & exploding fuel tanks?? It's insane!!

Pitch your way to the States, hope your mother is rescued from kidnappers, and show zero mercy to anyone who works for you with Ugueth Urbina!!!

This week, we take a peek at the life of a man who started out, behind the iron curtain, growing up in the streets. From there, he learned how to fight in the ring, and became one of MMA's most feared punchers. Problem is, he likes to punch things, out of the ring, as well. Like fellow airline passengers, or random bar patrons. He is also proficient in sexual assault, having feuds with his own family members, and saying some really dumb things. He is a roller coaster, from start to finish!!

Learn to fight by age 7, do things that make Putin think you're a "good guy", and deny everything, even if it's recorded with Alexander "The Grim Reaper" Emelianenko!!

This week, we take a long look at a man who, despite immense talent, was always a bigger force of nature, off the field, than on it. He showed flashes of brilliance, only to have his progress be taken back 2 steps, by yet another arrest. Fighting? Absolutely. Drunken strip club attacks? You know it. Cheating at a casino? Threatening the lives of police? Punching a woman? Indeed. And then some. He's truly one of the most requested episodes that we've had, and it's still better than anyone could have hoped for!

Answer a racial slur with a pool cue to the face, attack a dancer when she tries to pick up the money that you threw down for her, and always make sure to have the best arugula possible with Adam "Pacman" Jones!!

He fought his way out of a childhood, where sleeping outside was preferable to being home, to become a true legend. Then he discovered crack, glorious crack. This led to fights with everyone, including his mother, crazy crack house confrontations, getting shot by his "wife", lies, restarts, rehabs, jail, more arrests, panhandling, a ton more crack, and eventually Jesus. It really needs to be heard to be believed!

#165 - He Did More Than That - The Historicalness of O.J. Simpson Jun 18, 2019

This week, we delve into the history of a man who came from humble beginnings to become an icon, that almost transcended race, while compiling a Hall of Fame football career, starring in countless tv shows & movies, and appearing in commercials for every product imaginable. Under the smiling facade, was a very flawed person, who also enjoyed cocaine, many, many women, and rocky circumstances with his long term relationships. His world crumbles amid early domestic violence, strong arm violence, robbery, and a long prison term. I think that's everything... Oh! And he also had that whole incident where two innocent people were brutally murdered, and he was found not guilty. We will spend very little time on that, because he was even more of a bad person than you probably thought, giving us plenty of other things to talk about!

Be a national icon, become a bridge between the races... and be Nordberg with O.J. Simpson!!!
