The note says Cameras - United and American – Thats just creepy. It only took a few moments for this note to remind me exactly what I was thinking about at that time. Now back in the first few months of 2019 a bunch of articles came out about these two airlines and possibly a few others including Singapore Airlines. Apparently one passenger noticed that on the seatback entertainment system there was a small camera looking back at them. In an article on Market Watch they explained that a passenger on a Singapore flight posted a photo of the seat-back display last week and the tweet was shared several hundred times and drew media notice.

Some of the big players in the industry are Voco lyrebird Wavenet and Baidu all of which are making it possible for individuals to capture speech samples and use those samples to mimic and create speeches or statements that individuals never said. Voice editing software has been around for quite some time we use it to while making movies podcasts radio ads as well as a whole bunch of other creative projects. Public Wifi Your Data Is My Data Too Mar 19, 2019
    Show notes

This week we are going to do a deep dive into the darker side of public wifi how your data can be accessed and how you can protect yourself while navigating the ins and outs of public hotspots. The internet has been around since the 1960s. Originally the United States government commissioned for a system to be built that would connect computers in a network that would essentially create a communication system that could get information from one to the other quickly and without fault. Through the 1980s a lot of private funding as well as some public funding was used to financially support research into making this network of computers better and faster mainly for military use but by the 90s the idea to make this network available to more people begin to spread like wild fire. Companies all over the world began investing in making this network more commercially available. Most of us cant picture a world where we cant unlock our phone and google that ridiculous question that’s been popping in and out of our mind all day and then getting an answer immediately.
