3662 Outsmart Your Belly Fat Apr 09, 2025
    Show notes

Losing weight, especially in the stubborn belly fat area, can be a daunting task as we age. Not only does excess belly fat impact our self-esteem, but it also poses serious health risks. It's time to outsmart your belly fat.

What would it mean to you to have your belly fat melt away, or at least decrease?

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Research has shown that abdominal fat is more metabolically active and releases more harmful substances into the body compared to fat deposited in other areas, increasing the risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and other chronic conditions. Despite the numerous diets, exercises, and weight loss programs available, shedding belly fat remains a significant challenge for many.

Crash diets and excessive abdominal exercises often yield little to no sustainable results.

What have you tried in the past that has not worked well?

If you want to make an impact on your health, it's time to outsmart your belly fat and take control of your health.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Take back your health!

Here are three things you can do to begin your journey to better health.

    1. Revamp Your Diet: Focus on consuming a well-balanced diet rich in whole foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Avoid sugary drinks, processed foods, and trans fats, as they contribute to belly fat accumulation. Incorporating healthy fats like avocados, nuts, and olive oil can actually help reduce belly fat. 2. Prioritize Strength Training: While cardio is great for overall health, incorporating strength training into your fitness routine can help build muscle mass and increase your metabolism. Targeting the abdominal muscles with exercises like planks, crunches, and Russian twists can tone and tighten the midsection. 3. Prioritize Sleep and Stress Management: Lack of sleep and chronic stress can disrupt hormonal balance and promote weight gain, especially in the abdominal region. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night and practice relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga to reduce stress levels. By adopting these strategies and staying consistent, you can outsmart your belly fat and take your health back. Remember, slow and steady wins the race to a better you! Progress is key to long-term success in your weight loss journey. So, don't rush what you can change one step at a time. "One step at a time leads to miles of greatness." ~ Kristianne Wargo "Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3661 Walk Your Own Path Apr 08, 2025
    Show notes

Life is not fair. Life is a bear. But somehow, some way, you can get where you want to go. And that comes from you deciding to walk your own path.

In a world filled with distractions and comparisons, it's easy to lose sight of your unique journey.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Looking side to side and measuring your progress against someone else's is not only a disservice to your abilities, talents, and gifts but also a hindrance to your own growth. You are created on purpose for a purpose. So why try and live someone else's life? Embrace your individuality, embrace your strengths, and have the courage to pave your own way.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Walk your own path!

Take courage and be brave. You are made to walk where your feet are planted. Let your roots be the foundation for your growth and soar higher. Stay the course.

Don't rely on the strengths or weaknesses of others. Stay true to who you are and who you are becoming. Remember, your journey is unique, and the path ahead may not always be smooth. But it is yours to walk with pride and authenticity. Trust in your abilities, believe in your dreams, and keep moving forward with determination and purpose.

Walk Your Own Path by Kristianne Wargo

In the forest of life, where paths diverge, Walk your own trail, with purpose and courage. Amidst the shadows and whispers of doubt, Forge ahead boldly, inside and out.

The footprints you leave, on soil and on stone, Tell the story of you, and you alone. Embrace the journey, the twists and the turns, For in your uniqueness, your wisdom yearns.

Let not the echoes of comparison sway, Stay true to yourself, come what may. Your footsteps resound with a rhythm divine, Guiding you forward, your destiny to define.

In the silence of solitude, find your voice, Let it echo through valleys, let it rejoice. For in walking your path, you'll discover the key, To unlocking the essence of who you're meant to be.

So walk with conviction, walk with grace, Embrace your truth, your own special place. For in every step taken, in every mile, You'll find within you, the strength to smile.

Onward, adventurer, on this journey grand, Embrace the unknown, with open hand. For the path you walk is uniquely your own, A testament to the seeds you have sown.

So walk your own path, with head held high, And watch as your spirit begins to fly. For in the tapestry of life, you'll see at last, The beauty of walking your own path, steadfast.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3660 Are You Drowning on Dry Land? Apr 07, 2025
    Show notes

In today's fast-paced, high-tech world, it's easy to fall into the trap of a scarcity mindset, where negativity and self-doubt dominate our thoughts. We often find ourselves stuck in a cycle of expecting the worst and settling for less. Are you drowning on dry land?

So much of our life is lived from a scarcity mindset. We think all the worse, but barely hope for the best.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Therefore, life is pretty negative and defeating every day. We become very petty about things that really don't matter. Quite frankly, we don't like who we see in the mirror, but have no reason why.

We don't look for silver linings, only the ripped ones. We see what we are comfortable with because we know what to expect.

But where does that get us? Drowning on dry land.

How can we be the cream that rises to the top? How can we live out our purpose if all we see is what we think we are supposed to believe? Life is complicated. Life is beautiful. Yet, it is a life where you get to make some tough decisions. Stay where you are or move to higher ground. Are you drowning on dry land?

What do your days look and feel like? Are you coping with what you know because that's where you're comfortable? Change turns everything upside down. And if you want something different, you must be willing to get on another roller coaster. That's life!

Certainly, you can stay where you are. But let me ask you this: How has that been working for you lately?

Is this the life you are meant to live?

You can ask this in all circumstances and situations, from relationships to careers to school. All of life requires you to see it from either a scarcity mindset or an abundance mindset. You get to choose. You get to show up the way you fill up your cup, meaning your heart.

Where your head and heart connect is where you live. Are you living the way God desires for you? Or are you settling for less?

It's time to rise above and embrace a mindset of abundance and possibility.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace a mindset of abundance and possibility!

Here are three powerful ways to break free from the thoughts that hold you back and open your mind to endless possibilities: 1. Practice Gratitude: Start each day by focusing on what you are grateful for. By acknowledging the positives in your life, no matter how small, you shift your mindset from scarcity to abundance. Gratitude helps you see the silver linings and empowers you to approach challenges with a positive outlook. 2. Challenge Your Beliefs: Take a closer look at the beliefs that are limiting you. Are they based on fear or past experiences? Challenge these beliefs by asking yourself if they are serving your growth and happiness. Replace negative beliefs with empowering thoughts that align with your goals and aspirations. 3. Embrace Change and Growth: Life is a journey of constant evolution. Instead of staying in your comfort zone, be willing to embrace change and push yourself to grow. Step out of familiar patterns and explore new opportunities that can lead you to higher ground. Embracing change opens up a world of possibilities and helps you break free from the confines of a scarcity mindset. Remember, life is too short to stay stuck in a cycle of negativity and limitation. By practicing gratitude, challenging your beliefs, and embracing change, you can leave behind the thoughts that trap and restrict you, and open your mind to a world of endless possibilities.

    Nothing is impossible!

Break free from the cycle of drowning on dry land and start living a life filled with purpose and passion all because of your presence.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3659 Dribbling Through Life's Challenges with Faith Apr 06, 2025
    Show notes

Why does life have to be so complicated? Natural disasters, financial struggles, and health issues are just a few of the ups and downs. But regardless, dribbling through life's challenges with faith is the only way to get to the other side.

And with faith, that's where your hope comes from. It's not what you can control or how you can change the situation. It truly is something bigger than you and me; it's God at the helm.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

God created you on purpose for a purpose. Do you think He will let His plans fizzle and fall to the wayside?

Of course not! You literally mean the world to Him. God sent His only Son to die on the cross for your sins. Imagine for a moment what that would feel like to have to give up your only child to save the world.

I don't think most of us would have the heart to do what God did. But that's why God is God!!

John 3:16 ~ "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

Now, that doesn't mean that you will always get what you pray for or what you want in life.

Romans 8:28 ~ "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

God is in control. All the more reason to walk by faith, not by sight.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Dribbling through life's challenges with faith!

2 Corinthians 5:7 ~ "For we live by faith, not by sight."

How are you living your life? Are you working from a cup that is half empty, trying to figure out everything on your own?

Or are you genuinely leaning on God and His strength?

You will drive yourself into the ground if you don't always put your faith in God! Yes, you will have those moments where you yell at Him and give you a piece of your mind. You're human! God expects that. You need to be real with God, because that is what He desires most for you. He wants a relationship, not a transaction.

So, how are you leaning on God? Are you willing to let Him take the ball and make the basket, even if that means it's not what you want?

I totally get it. You want the control because you think you can handle it...until you can't!

Let God be more than a 911 moment. Let God love you the way He knows best. Let Him play in the game of life with you. I promise you, God's got you!

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3658 In the Game of Love Apr 05, 2025
    Show notes

Where two hearts beat as one, why does the scoreboard read differently? In the game of love, marriage is not a competition but a connection.

In the fast-paced game of relationships, it's easy to get caught up in the scorekeeping mentality – who did what, who's right or wrong. But what truly matters is the presence you bring to the table every day.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Because life does get in the way. And when it does, the game of love can be over before it really started. The arguments, the disagreements. The late nights for one who's the night owl, and the other who turns in early. Opposites do attract, but they shouldn't show up on a scoreboard.

So what does your marriage look like? Does one of you keep score more than the other? Do you both do it equally?

Shifting the blame doesn't change the game. You have to decide if the scoreboard is where you should focus. And if you want something different and truly a gamechanger, you've gotta embrace connection over competition.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Embrace connection over competition!

Here are three vital strategies to shift focus away from the scoreboard and toward the heart of the matter: 1. Practice Gratitude: Instead of tallying up shortcomings or mistakes, make a conscious effort to appreciate and acknowledge the efforts and intentions of your spouse. Expressing gratitude fosters a positive and supportive environment, nurturing connection and understanding. 2. Cultivate Empathy: Put yourself in your spouse's shoes and seek to understand their perspective and emotions. By empathizing with their feelings and experiences, you can build a deeper level of emotional intimacy and strengthen your bond. 3. Prioritize Communication: Instead of keeping a mental scoreboard of grievances, prioritize open and honest communication with your spouse. Create a safe space for sharing thoughts, feelings, and concerns, fostering a sense of mutual respect and understanding. As the NCAA March Madness Tournament unfolds, remember that true champions are not determined by scores alone. It's the unwavering support, unity, and belief in each other that elevate a team to greatness.

In your marriage, strive to always be the team at the top – united, resilient, and focused on the heart of the matter. Let your love be the victory that transcends all scores, leading you to a place of enduring connection and joy.

At the Top of the Heart by Kristianne Wargo

In the grand arena of hearts, where emotions swirl, Beyond the confines of wins and losses, unfurl. Let not the scores dictate our love's sweet dance, But the depth of our connection, our enduring romance.

In the symphony of souls, let empathy play, Understanding and compassion guiding our way. For in acknowledging each other's highs and lows, We foster a love that eternally grows.

Communication, the key to unlocking hearts' doors, In its open embrace, understanding soars. Speak truths, share fears, let vulnerabilities show, In this sacred space, our love will glow.

As the March Madness tournament captivates the nation, Let us be inspired by its jubilation. For in the game of love, we are each other's team, United in love, following a shared dream.

So let the scoreboard fade, the numbers blur, In the realm of love, it's our connection that's pure. Champions not by points, but by the heart, Together we stand, never to part.

In the symphony of souls, in love's sweet art, We'll always be the team at the top of the heart.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

3657 Another One Bites the Dust Apr 04, 2025
    Show notes

What happens when your child makes a bad decision, and you are left picking up the pieces? Just because your child makes a bad choice does not mean you're a terrible parentβ€” another one bites the dust.

As parents, we all want the best for our children. However, despite our best efforts, they may sometimes make decisions that leave us feeling helpless and worried.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

When faced with a child who has made a bad decision, it's important to remember that while we have influence, we can't control their every move.

I know we like to think that we do. But in reality, we don't. No matter how we look at it. All we can do is take what's in front of us and deal with the situation accordingly to the severity or lack there of.

What have you experienced with your children recently? Did you handle it with ease and little frustration?

If only it were that simple.

But it can be if you operate from the facts, not the feelings.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Operate from facts, not feelings!

Here are three things you can do to maintain your sanity and personal peace while continuing to influence your child in a positive manner:

    1. Nip it in the bud.

While it's important to be understanding and supportive, it's also crucial to establish boundaries and consequences for your child's actions. By setting clear expectations and enforcing reasonable consequences that are age-appropriate, you can help your child understand the impact of their decisions and learn from their mistakes.

    2. Facilitate opportunities for consistency.

Consistency is key in parenting. Be consistent in your expectations, rules, and consequences to provide your child with a sense of stability and structure.

    3. Encourage positive reinforcement.

Focus on highlighting and praising your child's positive behaviors and decisions. By recognizing and rewarding their good choices, you can help build their self-esteem and reinforce positive behavior.

No matter how you look at it, parenting takes work. It's exhausting one moment and exhilarating another moment. So, you get to choose how you approach raising your kids.

But here's the thing: I believe in your abilities. Don't give up. Ya got this!

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"

In the face of trials, stand tall and strong, For within you lies a resilient song. Though storms may rage and winds may blow, Your spirit shines with a radiant glow.

Keep going, my friend, don't lose your way, Embrace each challenge, come what may. With courage in your heart and fire in your eyes, You'll soar above the clouds and touch the skies.

When darkness falls and shadows loom, Remember, within you, there's still room For hope to bloom and dreams to soar, For every closed door, another opens its core.

Trust in the journey, trust in your might, You are a warrior, a beacon of light. Keep marching forward, step by step, Your perseverance and strength will be your prep.

So when you feel weary, when you feel low, Remember, within you, a spark does glow. You're capable, you're worthy, you're enough, Keep going, my friend, embrace the rough.

For on the other side of struggle and strain, Lies victory, growth, and lessons to gain. You're capable of more than you know, Keep going, my friend, let your greatness show.

3655 Break Bad Habits for a Healthier Tomorrow Apr 02, 2025
    Show notes

Breaking bad habits is essential for achieving optimal health and well-being. While many individuals have good intentions, you still must break bad habits today for a healthier tomorrow.

As you know, overcoming entrenched habits can be challenging. Research indicates that breaking bad habits is crucial for long-term health benefits, both physically and mentally.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Why don't we break bad habits?

Not breaking bad habits can have detrimental effects on various aspects of one's life. Here are some reasons why one might hesitate to break bad habits:

    1. Comfort Zone: Bad habits often provide comfort and familiarity, making it challenging to step out of the routine and embrace change.

    2. Fear of Failure: Breaking bad habits can be daunting, and the fear of relapsing or not succeeding may discourage individuals from even trying.

    3. Instant Gratification: Bad habits often offer immediate gratification or relief, outweighing the long-term consequences they may have on health and well-being.

    4. Lack of Awareness: Some individuals may not fully understand or acknowledge the negative impact of their bad habits, leading to complacency.

    5. Lack of Support: Breaking bad habits may require support from friends, family, or professionals. Without a support system, individuals may find it difficult to make sustainable changes.

    6. Emotional Attachments: Some bad habits are deeply rooted in emotions or psychological triggers, making them harder to overcome without addressing underlying issues.

    Why Break Bad Habits:

Studies have shown that bad habits, such as smoking, excessive sugar consumption, or a sedentary lifestyle, can have detrimental effects on overall health. For example, smoking is linked to various health issues, including lung cancer and heart disease, while excessive sugar intake can lead to obesity and diabetes. Breaking these habits can significantly reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases and improve quality of life.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the old and create the new!

Three Strategies to Break Bad Habits and Replace Them with Good Ones: 1. Identify Triggers and Create a Plan: - Recognize the triggers that lead to engaging in the bad habit. For instance, if stress triggers the habit of unhealthy snacking, find alternative stress-relief activities like meditation or going for a walk. - Develop a detailed plan to address triggers. If late-night snacking is a problem, plan and prepare healthy snacks like cut-up veggies or fruit to curb cravings. 2. Start Small and Stay Consistent: - Break the habit into smaller manageable steps. For example, if the goal is to reduce soda intake, start by replacing one soda with a glass of water per day. - Consistency is key to forming new habits. Set specific, achievable goals and track progress. Celebrate small victories along the way to stay motivated. 3. Find Healthy Replacements: - Replace the bad habit with a healthier alternative. If mindless scrolling on social media is a habit, swap that time with reading a book or going for a workout. - Make healthy choices readily available. Stock up on nutritious foods, sign up for fitness classes, or join a support group to stay on track. Breaking bad habits requires commitment, determination, and resilience. By understanding the impact of unhealthy habits on overall health and implementing strategies to break them, you can have a better tomorrow.

Remember, it's never too late to make positive changes today for a healthier tomorrow.

3654 Discipline is the Difference Apr 01, 2025
    Show notes

Have you ever felt that initial burst of motivation, only for it to fizzle out over time? You start off with grand plans and high ambitions, ready to conquer the world. But then life throws curveballs, and suddenly, your goals seem out of reach untilβ€” discipline is the difference!

It's a common scenario - we start with enthusiasm, but as days pass, our motivation wanes. Soon, what once seemed like a burning desire is reduced to a mere afterthought. It's not a conscious decision to quit; it's a gradual drift into inaction.

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

The danger of drifting is real. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and before you know it, years have slipped through your fingers. The culprit? Overreliance on motivation. Motivation is a fair-weather friend; it shows up when things are going well but vanishes when challenges arise. That's why those who consistently succeed don't rely on motivation alone; they rely on discipline and systems that keep them on track, regardless of how they feel. Winners understand that motivation is fleeting, but discipline is enduring. By establishing solid structures like habits, routines, and accountability measures, they create a framework that propels them forward, even on the toughest days.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Discipline is the difference!

So, this week, I challenge you to ponder: What system or discipline can you implement today to make progress a habit? It's not about pushing harder than others; it's about setting yourself up for success so that falling behind becomes impossible. You have the power to create an environment where progress isn't a struggle but a natural outcome of your efforts. By prioritizing discipline over fleeting motivation, you pave the way for sustained success. Don't wait for motivation to strike. Instead, harness the transformative power of discipline and systems to propel you towards your goals. Today is the day to lay the foundation for your success. Embrace discipline, embrace progress, and watch as you soar to new heights. Remember, discipline is the difference between wishing for success and achieving it. Let today mark the beginning of your disciplined journey towards greatness.

    3653 What's Driving Your Excuses? Mar 31, 2025
    Show notes

Life is not about what you are doing right, but more about what's driving your excuses. If you focused more on your purpose, the passion would fuel your everyday presence, and then you would not be contemplating whether you're good enough.

But how many of your days are lived in that manner?

Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? Join us at the Kairos FREE Online Community. https://createyournow.com

Are you choosing to wake up with hope in your step to guide your actions with discipline?

Or have you been hiding out with your excuses because you know them all too well? And if you're comfortable, there's no reason to change.

But let's get real on this beautiful day! You are created for more, destined to create your now.

So, what's driving your excuses? What makes you feel stuck and keeps you settled in that chair of comfort?

Causes for Feeling Stuck: 1. Fear of Failure: The fear of not succeeding or living up to expectations can be a powerful driver of excuses. This fear can paralyze us and prevent us from taking risks or stepping outside our comfort zones.

    2. Lack of Clarity: Uncertainty about our purpose or direction in life can lead to indecision and inaction. Without a clear vision of where we want to go, it's easy to get caught up in excuses and distractions.

    3. Negative Self-Talk: Negative beliefs about our capabilities or worthiness can undermine our confidence and fuel self-doubt. This negative self-talk can create a barrier to pursuing our purpose with conviction.

The K.I.S.S. ~ Break the chains of excuses!

You can break the chains of excuses when you decide to do it. Otherwise, you will keep doing what has not worked for you in the past.

    So what do you want?

Ways to Break Free: 1. Challenge Your Limiting Beliefs: Identify and challenge the negative beliefs that are holding you back. Replace them with positive affirmations and reminders of your strengths and past achievements.

    2. Set Small, Achievable Goals: Break down your larger purpose into smaller, manageable goals. By taking small steps towards your vision, you can build momentum and confidence, overcoming the inertia of excuses.

    3. Cultivate and Celebrate with a Supportive Environment: Surround yourself with people who believe in your potential and encourage you to pursue your purpose. Seek out mentors, coaches, or like-minded individuals who can provide guidance and accountability.

One way to look at what to do next is to ask yourself: What do I want to cuddle up with? What do I value? Where do I want to be tomorrow?

Don't cloud your expectations with dreams that are too big to come true tomorrow. Take the next step and create your now.
