We related that to the decline in critical thinking skills amongst the younger generation (specifically students and Kanye's fans) and the dangers of blind trust in your friends, role models, or person of influence. We also spoke about the race to getting a story up on the news (social media/TV) and disregard for credibility. Lastly, Amir shares his heroic story of how he "almost" broke up a fight at the gym lol.

In this week’s episode, we talk about Amir’s memory issues AGAIN. Somebody get this man a doctor ASAP😩. He explains how the fear of forgetting has pushed him to have such a rigid routine that he doesn’t like to steer away from.

Of course we (Nabat and I) decided to unpack that to try and figure out what the deeper issue was Hello potential trauma response??

Amir then asked us what we were and weren’t looking forward to in marriage…and btw I know what you’re all thinking…why are 3 single people talking about this…we all have hopes and dreams ok?! 🥺

Lastly we spoke about the “tough” choice that has to be made when one is trying to excel in their career but also has to be there for and in some cases protect the safety of their family (we’re talking about you, Kanye)

Ok, ok I know...the title for this week's episode is a bit intense and definitely a strong statement, but who's really going to disagree with that? In this week's episode, Amir tells us about his weird dreams and how he slept in for once in his life (and how that kind of ruined his day). We also spoke about some Canadian news lol...a high school teacher in Oakville claimed to be a transgender and dressed up to try and prove a point (allegedly). Next, Amir broke down the premise of Season 3 of Ramy and whether he felt like it was a fair representation of Islam/Muslims. Amir also discusses his experience on the up and coming social media app - BeReal and how much he doesn't actually enjoy it. We realized that although each of the social media platforms market themselves for different focuses, they all somehow manage to copy each other and have similar features. Next we spoke about our thoughts on the Trevor Noah comedy special that we attended and his newly revealed relationship??? with Dua Lipa???? Amir questions why some people truly believe that they will marry their favourite celeb/celeb crush and I had to remind him of my Nick Jonas phase 😅 Lastly, we spoke about pushing our social boundaries in order to help others - aka introvert struggles lol.

We finally hit 2K subscribers so I just wanted to thank you all so so much for all of your support, we appreciate each and every one of you ♥️

In this week's episode, we spoke about the unfortunate and tragic events involving Mahsa Amini and protests that have arose in support of Mahsa. Covering one's unlawful nakedness is an obligation for both women AND men. It is up to each individual to decide whether they will fulfill their obligations or not, however we not force the rules of the religion upon anyone. We later talked about how Adnan Syed is finally a free man (while he awaits the new trial date) and how horrible the (North) American justice system is.

We then shifted to a more positive topic and discussed the different aspects of our daily routines that spark joy in our days. Amir then discusses the water crisis happening in Jackson, Mississippi and related it to the mistreatment of the Aboriginals in Canada.
