Lindsay Clancy Murder Trial: 5 Things You Need to Know Jul 16, 2026
    Show notes

Criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor Joshua Ritter breaks down the Lindsay Clancy case with five things you need to know before her murder trial begins Monday with jury selection.

Prosecutors contend her actions were planned and deliberate.
Tonight, Josh explains the charges Clancy still faces, the prosecution’s theory, how the insanity defense works in Massachusetts, the key evidence and witnesses jurors may hear, and the central questions the jury will ultimately have to decide.

Kouri Richins Says Trial Was Unfair — Could Her Verdict Be Tossed? With Skye Lazaro Jul 03, 2026
    Show notes

riminal defense attorney and former prosecutor Joshua Ritter is joined by criminal defense attorney Skye Lazaro, who previously represented Kouri Richins, to break down Richins’ new fight to have her verdict tossed and be granted a new trial.
After being sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her husband, Eric Richins, Kouri Richins is now claiming there were “irregularities in the trial proceedings and cumulative error.” On Wednesday, Judge Richard Mrazik recused himself after accusations of bias, meaning another judge will now review Richins’ motion for a new trial.
Skye joins Josh to discuss what this motion really means, how difficult it is to get a verdict thrown out, and what “cumulative error” means in a criminal case.
Then, in tonight’s Leftovers segment, Josh covers major updates in three more headline-making cases:
Nancy Guthrie — The latest developments and unanswered questions in the search for answers in Guthrie’s disappearance.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis — The latest in the case against the man accused in the murder of Tupac Shakur.
Courtney Clenney — New developments ahead of trial for the OnlyFans model accused of killing her boyfriend, Christian Obumseli.
